My wife NHS Nurse recovered from serious covid-19 last May, she took the Oxford Jab yesterday as anti-body immunity only last 6 months, she is now suffering similar covid symptoms and the Oxford guidance states this can be expected 3 up to 7 days from vaccination. Of particular note her colleague received the Pfizer jab in November and is now grounded with covid-19.

This wretched virus will be around for a minimum 2 to 5 years in the Uk alone, we cannot simply vaccinate 67 million people (Uk population) twice a year for ever, for one many will simply not accept the jab, second it still doesn’t stop the virus getting spread, third it doesn’t guarantee immunity anyway.

The only way to effectively rid the Uk of it, is to test everyone within it and isolate those that prove to be infected. China test and isolate a city of 9 million in 3 days, then reopen 14 days later - this is the only way, our problem is we don’t have communism to enforce it, but we do pursue a similar route with drug addiction where we locate and shut down the producer rather than end user.

The producer in the case of covid-19 are the secret super spreaders who may or may not be immune, we have to find out who these are.

So any passers by that believe antigen test developers have missed the boat, because vaccines or part cures are the golden bullet are clearly deluded and best taking a reality check in life

Only gold standard tests will win the contacts and they will be a minimum standard at all airports, borders, custom checks with or without pandemics

So we have to conclude they don’t wish / feel the need to promote it for some other reason, and for me that reason is clearly because they already have a substantial customer committed to taking every test they can produce - hence the Medusa-19 cold shoulder

Difficult to understand how this stock is still so lowly valued in comparison to many others with similar JV MOU and modest income streams - but market decides for now it isn’t, but I’ve a feeling a major re-rate is imminent

No Vatic test is not holy grail gold standard (only stated as close too) If you google there are several articles - it has also only been sampled on 200 people so no certainty it’s any more reliable than Innova - it does not have approval and they don’t even have mass production facilities lined up - they also state it will be initially aimed at professional use - so at best it’s a long long way off readiness and clearly not yet on government radar hence the mass publicity

But certainly Another kick up the pants of Avacta to get their finger out !

It seems there is absolute radio silence everywhere - nhs schools care homes as well as Avacta holders

She can only confirm they have been told LFT introduced from January for secondary schools - they have no training instructions - infrastructure or further details - everyone pulling their hair out !

I find it difficult to believe this will happen as soon as term reopens - only the government and maybe Avacta will have this answer

My head teacher contact confirms this is their firm understanding. What these exactly are - delivery arrangements and how the logistics will be administered is unknown - she sincerely hopes they will be simple idiot proof rapid self tests !

She adds that she simply cannot understand why primary schools are not been afforded the same - rather than the crappy Innova swab kits they hand out to everyone

The market for testing and in particular something much better than these tests is simply astronomical and will be for a very long time - certainly our lifetimes - this is the beginning of a new multi trillion dollar industry, once we finally exit covid no developed countries will allow this to happen ever again so testing will be standard in and out of all borders and probably venues too.

Yes that’s the innova test - my Mrs (NHS) just tested herself again tonight - dig out the blood vessels from the back of your nose - choke to death with the 2nd throat swab - then vigorously mix the collection with a special liquid - then pour into test strip - then bingo 20 to 30 mins later you get a result - bingo !

She tested negative - if she’d tested positive she would then need to book in for a 2nd confirmation test at nearest nhs testing centre

So that is innova - anyone that tries to say this test is anywhere near practical or fit for purpose is as deluded and naive as our current government

I heavily bought into this stock April to August and have supported and promoted it throughout because of what ‘the gold standard test’ could do to properly unlock both my own business (hospitality) the Uk economy and to at least safeguard its citizens.

For me that was and still Is priceless, simply
making money from the stock rising has always been second fiddle as I would have also achieved it in my business as a result of the test . I’ve used the Innova tests that are now been handed out throughout the NHS and care homes - they are complicated intrusive and not fit for purpose - so as long as a better product doesn’t arrive before Avacta my colours are still nailed to Avacta.

It does seems clear to me they are now been directed by the government hence saliva and swab, and it also seems clear they are simply trying to produce the perfect product (the google of testing) to end all competition - that’s fair enough but we do need the product now or we are headed for another lockdown and more deaths in January / February

If they do produce the perfect ‘imminent‘ blockbuster test - Avacta their Affimers and products like AVA6000 will most certainly become recognised gold standard now and into the future. I believe covid has already cost the world 26 trillion dollars ? - so a test to solve this problem mass produced around would under licence would most certainly be a ‘trillion dollar test’ never mind the £10 SP projections

Either way I’m sticking it out and keeping the faith - there is some absolute rubbish posted here, appreciate some is genuine sheer frustration, but some deliberate for other reasons, but most is constructive and honest.
