Having had chance to reflect over the last 12 months it’s important to recall how many of us arrived at Avacta

Like many others I was simply attracted to the covid play - my business had been forcefully closed and so far as I could see the only practical way out for us and the whole world was a means to detect and isolate the silent infected majority.

So while many others chased NCYT believing PCR held all the cards, and some others ludicrously believed a perfected Antibody body test to support Vaccines were the golden bullet, I like many of the battle hardened here stood firm, while the stock value rose and fell like a rowing boat in an ocean

What we now have is a clear pathway forward because all other options have been finally exposed as also rans, LFT antigen testing is the only appreciable way of substance forward as a final solution for the world in the next 5 to 10 years. And these pioneer tests will shape what will be a future multi trillion dollar worldwide industry, with LFT testing as standard on all borders, and I believe at least weekly / maybe even daily in all households, as a basic preventative maintainace measure.

No way will any governments and economies allow this to happen again at any cost, LFT antigen tests for all known disruptive virus will be as common as toothbrushes and mobile phones.

The Innova test will not even be in the running, so the Avacta test will win hands down Because -

1. It’s practical idiot proof and fast
2. Reliable sensitivity wise at least 97%
3. Quickly adaptable to new mutations

4. Most importantly - it will be be trusted by the public (my mrs like most nhs nurses don’t respect innova) therefore popular and loved by the people

If you want to sell a policy to a nation that isn’t prepared to buy - get them to fall in love with it and trust it :-)

I don’t think the SP uplift today is anything other than the market finally waking up to Avactas real potential, holders becoming more sticky / confident and most importantly the acceptance that so long as the LFT does make the final cut on time as expected no doubt at all about they they will be getting a major chunk of that £8 bil gov contract and many others to follow, just in the uk - never mind the rest of the world !

If blockbuster RNS tomorrow great. But for me just acceptance of reality - but hey what do I know !

Presuming we ready no doubt at all Avacta will be getting a chunk of that contract - just 25% or £2 billion is 4 times our current market cap, I would reasonably expect us to get at least 1/2 of it

Yes of course we have too by law and have been doing so since last spring - appreciate some are not, but it’s not my business to comment further on this.

Should have added we had pre ordered 50000 from Medusa-19 last spring for this exact purpose - but we all know the story about that !

Wyndrum the government won’t do that because it knows deep down it’s not the answer, and if the government won’t provide free LFT tests, and we can buy the Avacta tests (or a better test) economically we will buy 1000’s and mail them out free of charge before the customer is due to travel

Yes it’s just a Reus to buy the government and antigen tests more time, and to think they even have the Audacity to propose to host the European Championships this summer with presume visitors from abroad accepted on vaccine passports only ?
