Anyone know if a date has been set for when to expect the interim results this year? Noticed that they’ve fallen anywhere from 15th-30th Sept in the past, with them being 26th sept last year.

Having an opinion that the SP could go down is not necessarily deramping, but saying that it will go down unless "Miracle can happen" (sic), is.

The SP could go up from here from a simple correction, or from a piece of positive news flow. Neither of these things would be something I'd consider a miracle.

LTT - according to the RNS on 29th August.

"A new request for arbitration has been drafted and is expected to be submitted in the coming weeks. An update will be provided in Rockhopper's interim results to 30 June 2025. Under the agreement (the "Monetisation Agreement") with the new funder announced on 20 December 2023, the costs of contesting the new request for arbitration are borne by the new funder."

This may also explain why the RNS hasn't been issued - as they advised in this RNS to expect an update in the Interim results.

Samula - The insurance was taken out at the annulment stage in the last case, not on the initial submission. I think the underwriters might be a little more cautious this time round! lol

Rockhopper would need to reimburse the insurer for the payout if they get one from the new case, as stated in their 29th August RNS.

"To the extent that Rockhopper makes a financial recovery from any new arbitration, after deductions for any reasonable costs and expenses incurred, that recovery will be utilised to reimburse the insurers in respect of the Insurance Proceeds."

I don’t think they’ve confirmed or denied if they are the same person as HappyInvestor. The posting style, agenda and timing of the posts all seem the same, but HappyInvestor does seem to have a better grasp of the English language so the jury’s still out for me.

My theory is it was a similar scenario to the trump tariffs.

Investors saw the negative press on Israel, panicked, sold in their droves. People realised it was over sold and the stock quickly rebounded. Maybe a few unfortunate PI’s decided to set their stop losses at 70p and got taken out in the process too.

I personally can’t see it being to do with the vote because that was a no brainer IMHO.

I have never once mentioned Isobel, and have always maintained the opinion that this share will do very well if FID is achieved, or tank if it doesn’t. That’s not baseless ramping.

Divi - if 90p makes no sense. Then why did you, very recently, say that £1+ was coming in the short term. Note, this comment was made AFTER the dilution was announced.

Phil164 - 10AM today there is a general meeting to announce the results of the voting on RKH resolutions regarding a capital raise.

I followed Garbleds logic watching the football the other day. I bet £50 on Burnley, £50 on Liverpool, and £50 on a draw.

When it looked like Burnley might hold onto a draw, I didn’t have to worry because my bet would still come in. Even if they nicked a surprise winner my bet would have still come in. In the end Liverpool won as the bookies expected - I still managed to win.

I may have lost £140 overall but if I didn’t spread my bets I could have lost the lot!
