But he started posting from when this share was 13p, and has been harping on about 13p ever since.

Do we know whether dealing is permitted for the CEO though at this point though?

Clearly there’s nothing stopping Alison Baker, but her role is a lot less involved than the Chief Exec.

I’d imagine Sam will be in constant communication with lawyers at this point in time. He’d likely be getting some sentiment from them about whether RKH could file a new claim or not, insurance etc. So I can’t see how any buy or sell from him at this point would be permitted. I may well be wrong though.

Looking at the previous director deals it was actually 2023 the Bed & ISA deal was done. Holding at that point was 212,744.

Current holding is 234,181 (after just selling 50k shares). So holding has actually increased since then. Perhaps she's been issued some equity for performance and decided to cash it in. Not an issue imho. If she had serious concerns I'm sure she'd sell her other £100k+ worth.

She's on the board of a few other companies, so Rockhopper wouldn't be her only source of income.

If I recall correctly she did a Bed & ISA trade a year or two ago, which was RNS'd. Maybe there were insider dealing restrictions in place until now which prevented her from doing the same this year until now?

I'd say it's pure speculation at this point and has no relation to car insurance policies.

A 31m corporate insurance policy would obviously have a detailed contract which would probably cover all these scenarios and potential outcomes. But without knowing the terms of the contract it's just guesswork.

PD - I'm not sure of the technicalities but that's an interesting point. If they were able to essentially get 2 bites of the cherries by receiving the insurance payout and then retrying the case then that would be a great outcome - painful as it would be to wait for.

I always thought they had sold the ownership but looking back at the RNS it does say:

"· Rockhopper to retain legal and beneficial ownership of the Award"

The good news is there will likely be grounds for another arbritration - so they might get to start this whole process again from scratch! Yay....

All jokes aside, I hope to God it's a case of collecting the insurance and then leaving all that to the other parties. Even the youngest among us will be in the ground by the time that case concludes lol.

Pre2rcd - sorry mistake in my earlier post. The insurance provider wouldn’t have had to pay out if annulment was unsuccessful, but the specialist fund would have. I.e unless I’m wrong I don’t think either payment was reliant on Italy having to pay out (other than potentially the tranche 3 one)

Insurance provider would have paid out regardless. It just would have been 65m had the annulment been dismissed.

It’s a really bad result for the insurers. And definitely not ideal for RKH. But when the dust settles it probably only represents a 5-10% reduction in market cap. Depending on how much of the award was priced in already.

Highly doubt any one is being influenced by grimuphere’s posts. And if they are that naive they shouldn’t be investing at all.

I don’t think that’s even his intention. Just seems to be a troll on a wind up mission, and if that’s his aim it’s working.

Deja-vu from the November RNS.

After the RNS initially dropped in November a lot of people saw mention of delay and panic-sold resulting in a short term drop.

Once the RNS was properly digested, people realised that there was a lot of positive and material progress in there, and the SP continued to rise since.

Feels like something similar here. A lot of positives to take from that RNS imho. By the sounds of it a lot of financing agreements are in place but the sticking point is the FIG tax treatment.

It would be idiotic for FIG to squander the the chance of development by playing hard ball. The timetable Mogger posted the other day seems to indicate they aren’t hanging around in addressing it either.

Looks as though the major ones from our perspective are under the 19th June heading. Presuming that's the date the meeting will take place.

Any ideas what "Deadline to Officers: Thur 5 June (noon) Deadline to

COLA Tues 10 June (Noon) " means. Is this the deadline for the officers to submit the relevant reports?

Be interesting to see if they add anything more specific about the timeline.

We are pretty much in "mid-2025" so any further detail in the update would be great.

Just FFS please don't let them say it will be announced "imminently" lol

Supra3 - Google translate. You can either use it for text if you copy and paste text over. Web pages, if you paste the web link it will translate the page. Or documents (e.g when they release reports in pdf format).

If you use google chrome browser it usually prompts you to translate the page when you open a non-English page. You might have to enable this in settings though.

Apologies for the mix up, you've been saying it since RKH was 13.25p, I grossly exaggerated by saying 13p.

He’s also said that all along since RKH was about 13p - and in that case was wrong as RKH signicantly out performed BOR

If you cherry pick a time frame you can make someone right about anything.

Also if you try selling any volume in BOR with the liquidity it currently has and you’ll soon see a lot of that gain evaporate.

I’m not saying RKH is the most liquid stock in the world either, but you can at least sell volume for something close to the share price.

I don’t think we’ll see sell the news on FID imho. It would be a monumental piece of news for the company and would expect a massive spike and re-rate of the share price if it does get announced.
