I'm hoping we will see a fairly quick announcement of financial close (if Navitas RNS is anything to go by we will) - and at least we can see where the dust settles post-dilution.
I'm not too disheartened by the recent drop, I was fortunate enough to buy my shares in 2021 and so probably have a different outlook to the longer term holders who I understand have been through a difficult ride with this share. My aim originally was always to sell when we hit 40p. But in the end the RKH bug came over me, and I only sold around 25% of my holding in the mid 40's. In hindsight a financially poor decision, but psychologically a good one.
I was hoping to see triple digits on FID and I would have offloaded a few more too.
However, I've always said the shares I hold in my pension will remain there until we get taken out, go bust, I die, or I can cash my pension in (30+ years time - that's if whoever is in power hasn't added a few decades to retirement age by then!).
After all, where could be safer to keep the funds you require for retirement than a highly speculative, risky, volatile, mid-cap AIM oily ? 🤣
