If STAF could call the markets bluff and amend the covenants rather than a placing I wonder what would happen to all holders who have either shorted or forward sold stock thinking they can pick them up again in the placing. Doubt it will happen but would put a torch under the shareprice.

Response to Commentary Regarding US Employee

Versarien plc (AIM: VRS), the advanced materials engineering group, notes the recent commentary regarding Patrick Abbott, Vice President North American Operations for Versarien, and the charges brought against him by the State of Texas.

The Company's position has not changed from the announcement of 4 April 2019. The criminal proceedings in respect of Patrick Abbott remain ongoing and the Company continues to monitor with advice from its US attorney.

The Company's commercial operations in the USA continue to progress. Patrick Abbott will continue in his role with the Company, under the guidance of the Board and senior management. Patrick Abbott reports to Neill Ricketts, CEO, who is the head of the US operations. Patrick Abbott is not a PDMR.

Also worth noting that LIBC have eased off the offer price on the RSP (retail service provider) quote aswel, they have been the main instigators on the drop, constantly offering 50k shares suppressing the price lower each day.

You've all seen what happens when the placing price gets announced, MTRO being the latest share to rally Hard upon finalization.

Seems like cracking value here, even if the placing is at 80p (which i reckon is the very lowest estimate) it will rally as clarification is reached and a scramble for the discounted shares ensues.

Fantastic value at these levels for a bounce and long term hold.

Coming from someone who has claimed to have "lost around that £1m that I can't afford" im not sure your the best person to take advice from. Seemingly very pee'd off about the whole affair, which i would be too if i was a dim as yourself, holding on in blind hope.

Good entry if you think the Irish Gov will consent to the wells.

Everyone knew there was a delay. Why would they provide funding if the well wasn't going ahead. It was always a waiting game for the go ahead from the Irish Government. Once that is received everything else will fall into place. Laughable how bad people are at making money in these markets.

Over 30 mllion shares traded hands yesterday. Volume spikes are the best indicators of reversals. Wonder if any vultures are lurking. Solid entry at these levels, yesterday the 30 million shares were acquired at 19p.

Just like BMN a few days ago at 20p, RNS was issued, ended up at 29p. Im sure a few will be buying expecting a positive and reassuring RNS.

Little daft to sell 25% down, the news was yesterday hence the 5% drop yesterday. Solid buy at these levels.
