By the time AJ Bell and iWeb got around to actually crediting Aclara shares, the price has dropped from CAD 1.80 to 1.30. As ever PI's get screwed over.

Still nothing showing for me on two different brokers.

Meant to add that meanwhile Aclara have dropped from CAD 1.70 to 1.46

Nothing in AJ Bell who say it might take up to ten working days! Nothing in iWeb and no communication about it either.

My broker says we get shares in Aclara; not a payout as some here are suggesting. As they are TSX listed that is a bit inconvenient for UK holders who at minimum will have to pay fx charges to sell and at worst won't be able to sell at all if you are with a broker that doesn't do TSX trades.

Why are the shares down on seemingly good results?

No RNS though which is strange? Does it mean a delisting here?

According to my broker:
"Tharisa Plc has announced details of a relisting to the Cyprus Stock Exchange.
Following the United Kingdoms exit from the European Union, the Central Securities Depository Regulations require securities in Tharisa Plc to be held by a recognised European Central Securities Depository if the Depository Interests representing those securities are to be held in CREST.

To ensure that you can continue holding Depository Interests within CREST, the Custodian is making arrangements to hold the securities via the Cyprus Stock Exchange."

Does this mean they will no longer be traded in London and does it affect ISA/SIPP eligibility?

I don't see anything in the open offer document about return of cash specifically; I assumed it would be at the same time the shares were received as with other open offers; can't see why it it isn't?

Hey, when do we get the cash credited back that was chasing the excess shares?

With broker 2 I only got 4% ! Mugged. Why is the scaling back not fair and equitable to all concerned?

I seem to have only been allocated 7% of the excess shares I applied for. Looking at the RNS, the scaling back such that allocations should be in excess of 20% of what was applied for. Do I have grounds for complaint to my broker or is it all just a lottery?

Yes you can sell your existing shares if you want. The open offer entitlement date was over a week ago so you will get what you applied for less scaling back.

If its 'Great news' then please explain why the share price is 4% down when other mining-related shares are up today?

It's never 'Great news' when there is a placing or rights issue. Today's price action confirms that; down 4% so far. The new shares are always less than the market price pre-announcement so that overall the shares are dragged lower.

I don't think the discount is going to be such that you can immediately sell and make a decent profit. APF shares already down on the news so will settle just above the likely placing price.

Its not a proper rights issue though; I think we only have today to apply; you have the faff of setting up a PrimaryBid account and funding it, but worst of all you can't link the account to a SIPP or ISA. Im not bothering.

Nothing on the internet. So one twitter post and a few stock pictures, plus maybe a year old event and 15% drop in TSG. Hope it is rumour only or at worst a deliberate attempt to drop the share price.

We should get approx 16.9% of the excess shares applied for according to my understanding:
"applications from Independent Shareholders under the Excess Application Facility in respect of 7,714,040 Open Offer Shares"
"Accordingly, 1,304,554 Open Offer Shares, representing approximately 1% of the Open Offer Shares, will be allocated to the Independent Shareholders"

Rosewell, Look do we live in a communist state where all profits have to be returned to the government? What about the risk I took investing in Tesco through the pandemic? What about the complete wipeout I've had on some of my other shares due to Covid? Are the government giving me money back that I lost? No they aren't. So don't get on your high horse.
Tesco were entitled to rates relief due to additional costs of Covid and shareholders are entitled to any profit and assets of Tesco. End of.
