If Orosur only has 160 million shares in circulation then small investors should expect some dilution next year.
That said the drilling results might be so good that none of us will be overly concerned, time will tell.

El D thanks for the technical analysis I find it helpful and do a little tinkering with HL charts. I try and take a more holistic view of a company when punting....what sector is it in, how much debt, resources proven or potential, FT analysis is quite handy and of course the moving averages (50 and 200 day usually) and Bollinger bands.

Long and the short is that the fall back in sp did not surprise or spook me and I picked up more at 23 and 20p this week. My original buy was at 18p so I am new to OMI but reckon it looks cheap and will be snapped up by a larger player. For other reading this, trust no one inc me and do your own research (dyor) and then share your views as you might have spotted something the rest have missed.

Ask someone here if they have looked at the charts and performed any technical analysis? My gut feel is that a further drop next week might be a good place to buy some more. I was brave/lucky and purchased my modest stake at 208p so still in the blue but happy to buy more at the 240p level if it drops further from here.

Andy it is neither good or bad given the volatility of the past few weeks. I am content to hold until news comes in on production figures or the reservoir. With Brent nudging $48 this week HUR just needs to keep pumping for a few months with an acceptable water cut and a sp re rate certain.

This is also key imo, price of gold not so much when you are not yet a producer. Much hinges on the drilling results the geology they uncover and lastly the assay tests. Dont panic, hold if you are in the red or consider adding if you have money to bet. I bought some this week at just sub 23p and did not consider that too bad, I bought a few more today at just over 20p.
Most importantly dyor, trust nobody including me but read around the business and understand that AIM has less regulation than the main market.

Nope, not a shorter but cautiously optimistic. Many of us have seen this play out in other places like SOLG where the sp spikes and dips for a year or two before you get the news flow to sustain a climb. OMI is not there yet and so a further drop in sp not impossible.

There is no harm in having alternative views on an RNS, if nothing else it provides a bit of context and I willing to wait and see where IMM is in 1-3 years hence.

Many optimistic posts below and that is OK but my next buying point is in the teens. Long term I am confident of a profit from OMI but the ride can be bumpy and until drilling news and assay results flow in the sp might fade a bit more.

Colonel, another option is to live with a low ball offer and accept either a cash and shares option or sell for cash and reinvest it in the major miner who sweeps up SOLG. While I would love those here who want to ride this up with time to be able to do so one has to be realistic about mining shares.

Andle, the smart money will trade this up and down. I will top slice when it passes 15p and hope there will be other profit taking points along the way. If there are spikes followed by dips I might buy back in at higher prices if......if the progress on P3 looks sound.

More options and share dilution. I had to buy my shares while the management picks up 300,000 for what exactly? Share options should be provisional on successful outcomes and dated way in the future to ensure investors get value for money!

I was a little disappointed that the RNS was so minimal/formulaic.
Investors deserve an update on progress of the permits from BKY management!
Until I see proof of progress I am not re investing.

Good news for SOLG....

Hi, I saw the RNS this week and bought a modest stake in PAT as I thought it an interesting speculative play. That said I would be wary of any business dealings in India, the Government are renown for screwing over foreign investors. Case study Cairn Energy which is still waiting to get back taxes unfairly screwed out of them years ago.
Cautiously optimistic and hope I am a little ahead of the crowd as good news emerges over the next few months.

Show me the figures, give me a geological update on the reservoirs and I would like to see another 6 months production figures. That said like many LTH I really enjoyed yesterday and it nudged me into the blue. I need more profit from HUR to cancel the losses I took when I sold on the way down but I am optimistic because I think HUR is sucking oil from a very large reservoir connected to others.

I remain quite heavily invested here not because I understand the science as such but because I assume that the clinicians and scientists employed by IMM have learned the lessons from the first unsuccessful Phase 3 trial. To me this is a probability punt. What is the probability that the second P3 trial will run to a clinically and commercially successful outcome? The fact that Avion has been willing to fund the trial suggest the odds are fair. Notice fair, not a sure bet, just fair which does not preclude a second failure.

Annnd now Standard Life have sold a chunk of shares according to the RNS.
Not personally concerned as 888 a sound business and much might happen in the USA next year.
