29 Jan, one trade above according to LSE but the sp up 4%? News required to drive this company out of the dumps, hopefully 2021 might see some positive RNSs.

Let us hope we stay in the blue until close today I need cheering up!.

What is the opinion here on the RNS? I have punted on MTR because it may prove to be one of those tiddlers which invests in an exploration company that hits it rich. I am not that versed in reading mining reports so struggle to differentiate from the good, the bad and at times the ugly! Copper in demand and gold prices likely to take off through $2100 this year etc.

If XOM bought out CNE next week the Indian Gov would pay the $1bn within a month. As we are, I hope to see a part payment by summer 2021 and another special dividend.

Just me perhaps? At one point yesterday I was £8k in profit on a modest stake.

We should be watching their markets closely. PM prices may well prove volatile over the next few weeks. My money is on SOLG and the Reddit young guns burning a few more shorters.

Ouch! Markets unimpressed.

The RNS persuaded me to buy more this morning. In recent months I had taken profits as I wanted to de risk my SIP. Now I understand why the sp has dropped, it may well fall further but the long term prospects strong imo.

Share dilution? Fortunately a small number of new shares.

Market has dropped and PMG unduly punished imo so purchased 15,000 shares a min ago via HL. I expect to see 40p by the summer of this year or higher if a bid is forthcoming.

Why? If HUR is a busted flush about to wipe out the small investors then why bother with a joint broker at this stage in the game?

I read one of the recent RNSs and dabbled at 26p then watched it sink......but having reviewed how many institutional shareholders are invested added just mins ago to average down. Copper and precious metal miners not a bad place to be and having followed Silver Wheaton for some years think the MTR biz model a reasonable one.

Added a few more shares as I felt the sp undervalues PMG and this news a bonus.

Added a few more as I am confident 2021 will be a better year for CNE.

If thereis no news I would watch to buy more at 10p ish. While i have hope that the drug will eventually get approval the road will be even longer and more arduous than I thought a year ago. IMM is not a get rich quick punt!

Blackrock, I take comfort from the fact they have increased their stake in CNE to 10%. Put crudely that means the Indian Gov owe Blackrock $100 mn and I believe they will collect on that one way or another.

A bit disappointed by this RNS, why sell off this part of the company? Are they paying a fair price?
