Exactly, this is much easier share to bet on than say SOLG where ownership and the relationship with JV partner has been messy. OMI has a good partner, the latest assays encouraging and Colombia a good country to invest in. Strong hold, buy any dips imo.

How much is this worth? Just for arguments sake accept we do 2 million tests a year at LBA for a couple of years what does that equate to on the bottom line? What is the profit margin? We do not know.....yet. But it is encouraging and should help lift the sp.

I have seen better but the grades are ok and the zinc interesting. The economics of any mine much improved if there is a second metal in place. Example, a copper mine with modest amounts of gold or a gold mine with silver concentrates. Good news, holding my shares.

#metoo! May results and then decide. My other small biotech punts up and down but OXB the most disappointing to hold because it just does not seem to react to good news.

The market may be less emotional than small investors. The price at close yesterday probably assumes nothing much being paid by India in the short term. Tax case aside CNE is a decent mid cap oil investment imo. If they extract some compensation from India then that is a bonus but perhaps not the reason for being a long term holder.

Too much chat about the sp imo. What is OMI worth today? What will it be worth in a few months time? How far away from production are we? Who wants to own OMI? At what point in 2021 or beyond will a larger player want to make a bid and at what price?
It has a been a great week and OMI in my portfolio a real comfort while other miners I hold like SOLG/PAT are at least in the short term out of favour and luck.

But we are years away from production.... I realise now that NM over promised and wasted time but I appreciate he still has some supporters here.

Hi Sotolo you make a good point in the last line, even if gold prices fall further HOC is producing it for $1250 an ounce and much of our production is hedged which I do not think is a bad position to be in. No serious debt, cash positive leaves me with a share that I am not going worry too much about. SOLG one of my other big bets has become a major headache!

Cannot see how HOC is not going to be a great investment for the next few years with figures like that? The silver numbers an added bonus.

I would predict a deal outside of court as India has not done very well in recent legal cases like Vodafone and Cairn Energy. I hope the sp will perk up a bit this week on the news but who knows?

This certainly influenced the idiot Merkel (a woman with a PhD in Phys Chemistry) to do a deal with The Greens and decommission German Nuclear Power Plants in 2011. The result? Electricity prices doubled and Germany is now the largest CO2 emitter in the EU.
When Merkel goes, I believe Germany will reverse the decision on Nuclear Power Plants and Uranium prices will fly. Meanwhile I watch and wait to see if Spain has the sense to grant the mining permits to BKY.

Yes, I figured it worth doing to average down my holding so asked for roughly double what they offered. For me EVG something of a punt, not a company I know enough about but purchased a stake because I felt the potential product/drug line looked attractive.

Yesterday was great but this morning the shorters and profit takers bound to take the edge of the shine. Nonetheless I made two small purchases of 25,000 shares each for my children's SIPs with HL as I rate HUR as a recovery play. Time will tell, they are young and can afford to be patient.

Progress, not exactly hitting the jackpot in Las Vegas but promising news.

BHP might make a bid for SOLG or the Chinese might decide to cut out the middle man. China has the political muscle to deal with whatever president and party the Ecuadorean people pick to govern them.

I predict BHP etc will delay their bid until 01st April....
