Here is another one, if enough small investors on free BB, platforms, Telegram etc decided that OMI had been deliberately over sold and placed more buy orders then the sp might bounce back quite quickly.
Reddit and WSB are not running a monopoly its a movement that anyone can join or copy.

Put bluntly, I am (probably irrationally) angry with recent events here because I had hoped that even AIM might want to ensure an efficient and rational market. Yes the march up in price might have appeared exuberant last week but the assets under development enticing and copper prices very high.
To then see the sp monkey hammered by 40% in a couple of days trading after a respectable RNS smacks of somebody with money manipulating a tree shake to make money from small investors with stop losses set.
Does the platform that you invest with sell your data? Who knows how many small investors have set stop losses and at what price? Anyone obtaining that data could engineer a tree shake and make money from it.
Do I have any evidence? Nope none whatsoever. It is just a hypothesis like EMH.

Thanks BB68, strangely the sp drop this morning does offer a relatively cheap re entry point for the brave. I am just not that brave yet but neither have I given up on BKY. If you are already invested given the way Uranium is moving perhaps hang on and hope?

Starbright, timimg unfortunate RNS might affect sentiment. Somebody has made a lot of money from the drop in sp.

I top sliced on the way up and have been averaging down this week. I now have triple the number I had last week which is more than I wanted but I am only slightly in the red.

But.....if you are brave enough and have a high 5 figure number of shares then every penny change in sp is equal to several £ hundred pounds up or down.

Wait and see imo. If I see progress towards the permits being granted then yes I would invest.

Just picked up on this after reading an article at Alpha returns. Have I missed the boat, how far might this fly? I also hold CCJ, YCA and UUUU with HL pension.

So according to this site there are no short positions yet the sp just dropped 25%......figured it out yet?
Financial markets are rigged by crooks but their plays can be recognised inc BB rampers....

Copper prices today hit a ten year high. I had until recently viewed OMI primarily as a gold play but does have anyone have a view on how much copper we are sat on? The Zinc from today's RNS a nice bonus btw but industrial metals less sexy to some punters than PM finds and assays.

Just hit a ten year high....lets stop the squabbling and hope a buyer makes a bid and gets this mine into production asap. I would be quite content with a cash and shares offer from BHP or just cash from the Chinese. What we cannot afford is much more delay, the market will look for global copper mining assets and we are not a unique proposition there is competition.

Do you recall posts from people like me saying that all financial markets are rigged, especially precious metals?

Encouraging, I might add to my stake soon. I sold 2/3 of my original stake on the drop as I realised with hindsight I was over exposed/greedy re SOLG and put it into FCX which has done very well in the past few weeks. I have not lost faith in the assets just the old management but a new CEO and revised feasibility plan not far away now.

Top sliced a while back and just bought more today on the tree shake.....

I am hanging on but still view this as a risky punt. It is potentially one that will recoup my stop losses if the production continues around 12,000 bopd at these prices then just a little improvement in reservoir estimates will see the sp fly. Much hangs on the next production update, cautiously optimistic.
