I stop lossed on the drop and then added a few hours later at 229p and left a buy order at 218 which was also filled. Hence back on board with an average price at bit above where we are today but I do not think the battle to see true price discovery in silver is over, far from it in fact.

I do not know how "smart" they really are but I certainly found the news encouraging!.

Re "experts" their opinions are often useful on drilling results but the market opens in 45 mins and they are the final arbiters of the RNS. I would be pleased if the sp nudged up a couple of pence.

First glance, ok initial results but not spectacular assay results. Encouraged by phrases like mineralisation close to the surface etc.

Just stop lossed out at break even with 10000 shares. Will buy back in once the price has settled and a trend emerges. No doubt HOC being shorted so not going to fight that unless Reddit and WSB behind the company!

At close of play yesterday the PM miners in the USA had a strong day with among others Hecla up 24%. I suspect we are the beginning of a run up in silver prices so willing to take profits if the sp here dips. In a month from now closer to 200 or 300p? I hope for the latter but would not bet everything on it.

Well for the first day of trading under a short squeeze on silver I think 10% OK. Bound to be volatile for a week or two but if there is genuinely a push to obtain a more realistic price for silver then HOC will go further. As of right now PM prices/miners having a good day on the US markets.

According to Seeking Alpha returns Hecla already up 43% very volatile start. Holding and watching to see where HOC ends the day and week. I feel £3 a share well within reach based on US market start and silver prices.

I also hold HL and GPL, both up on market open. Will that impact on HOC today? No idea, but hoping it does.

Interesting comments below and when the US markets open in a few minutes we shall see where the price of silver is going. I did buy physical over the weekend a 10 ounce UK coin from Atkinsons of Sutton Coldfield because I like to keep a little physical at home the coins are beautifully crafted, its just a shame they attract VAT as that rather kills their short term investment value!

A bid is coming soon because of unexpected speculation in the PM markets? This week seems to be all about silver but it is likely that gold prices will be lifted and so some of the predators circling SOLG fear the sp might rise quickly and result in their low ball bid failing? Purely my own thoughts no data to back it up.

HOC has risen above 300p at least 3 if not 4 times. To speculate that it might do the same again this week is hardly ramping the company and while I wish EVA good fortune I think HOC has a way to go yet but as always DYOR.

This week silver is attracting all of the attention but gold prices will not be far behind. Hold and be patient a rise and a bid not far off imo.

Many here have had years of disappointment through investing in precious metals mining because of price manipulation. Enjoy the ride you have all earned it the hard way and screw the LME and Big Banks who shorted us.

Yes the coins attract VAT but the choice is wide, they are things of beauty and make great gifts. Buying physical silver puts pressure on the crooks at the London Metals Exchange and their friends in Chicago. That in turn pushes up silver prices and the sp of miners like HOC which I also hold.

If you want to help the sp rise herthen then go to the Llantrisant Mint or a bullion dealer like Atkinson's in Sutton Coldfield and buy a coin or two. Yes you have to pay VAT but they are things of beauty and a lasting store of wealth and they also make great gifts. This in turn puts pressure on the LME which will raise share prices in mining stocks.
