I like MTR because it has just 13 employees, a debt to capital ratio of 19%, a great portfolio of miners and a net asset value of about 15p a share according to the FT. I am surprised that it has no institutional investors as yet so maybe this is the kind of small biz where brave private investors can buy a stake in before the bigger players barge in?

I happen to like coins and hold a few at home for the pleasure of ownership. I ordered a Valiant yesterday as my contribution to the 01 May Silver Squeeze being discussed on other boards.
One could of course go to Atkinsons or any bullion dealer and buy pre owned silver coins at a lower price but....

It is all "out of stock" which suggest the demand for physical already quite high.

I saw The Keiser Report a few days ago where the guest said the same thing re buying physical. I happen to like holding a little physical so went to Llantrissant Mint website and purchased a 10 ounce silver coin. Paying the VAT a ball ache but if inflation kicks in and silver prices rise it will have been worth it. More importantly my mining stocks might benefit bigly.

Are small investors being deliberately scared off with a set of results based on $50 a barrel and a technical analysis that most of us do not understand?

We need an expert view but I got the impression that Lancaster P1 and P2 figures were ok and that "potentially" the company is still sat on millions of barrels of oil. That does not mean small investors will not get screwed as it might take years and millions to extract the reserves.

Watch what happens at market open and buy/sell accordingly? I am disappointed that there was no company comment on the RNS....are they good, bad or indifferent?

Once again, I question why Dheli does not give up on the legal wrangling and just make a bid for CNE in order to get hold of the 19,000 bopd we produce and eliminate the $1bn damages? Some stupid cultural loss of face issue one assumes?

Worth a read, I am now cautiously optimistic that Boris will do a deal to help CNE. The question is, how much is already factored into the sp? I suspect if half of what is owed were delivered via installments starting this summer then the sp would spike to 270p ish?

We might get lucky and this trip unlock some compromise deal for CNE. The alternative another legal appeal, threats to seize goods etc.

The RNS was uninspiring imo with no new news. Potential yes but not enough drilling and assay results to lift the sp substantially today.

Excellent drilling results will help the sp recover a bit today but this mining company needs much stronger management at every level.

Never take advice from anonymous bulletin boards but dyor.....do your own research.
Look at the trading info above and figure out if small punters are buying or selling, momentum one of several clues as to when to buy or sell. Trust nobody including me, only bet what you can afford to lose.

I would love to see faster trials and less red tape from the FDA etc but doubt it will have much impact outside of Covid19 despite the fact that Lupus is a life threaten/shortening disease for millions.

The only glimmer of hope I can offer is that 25% of SRB is owned by institutions and they will be feeling the same as I do and want this sorted and fast! My worst gold explorer share by a country mile and all because they used a couple of locals in their mine management team. Locals do the digging while expats run the mine, a formula which has worked for centuries.

Not just a bump in the road but fraud and one bad enough they had to ask the Canadians if they could keep on trading!

How much stolen and was it cash or gold? Did the two local managers seed the mine samples to give false assay reports? Time will tell but this is serious for small investors and should not be played as a bump in the road.
