I looked at the shares traded this morning above and wondered why the sp dropped 6%?
Clearly lse not listing all the trades but if seems odd that sp drops on small buys and sells. I wondered if the market makers or larger traders are trying to gently shake the tree and scare off small investors?

Could I opt to have mine paid as physical silver into a HOC run ETF please?
Why don't miners put a % of their product into a cooperative run ETF?
An ETF without paper, no funny financial/currency instruments......just physical silver.

Well said Taylot I take comfort from being invested here because MTR has several interesting mining investments as opposed to me trying to pick winners from a wide range of small cap mining & exploration shares.

Even the FT found it all quite exciting and the year is yet young.

Do not believe the price quoted here, I was unable to buy on HL at anywhere near the above so left a buy order for today should it slide to 9p. Much depends on the FDA meeting and until that is posted we are speculating rather than investing.

Why are they bothering to remain listed on AIM other than to fleece small investors?

It would not surprise me to find the Chinese own SOLG in 2-3 years time. Frankly, I do not care who makes a bid for us over the next year or so as long as it is in excess of 60p. Once the mine is in production then that is another matter but we are a few years away from that imo.

I was as surprised as anyone else here to see this open -10% but simply used the opportunity to buy 40,000 more from HL. Assay results like that are very encouraging and while we are currently at the mercy of market makers/shorters playing a tree shake on stop loss settings the fundamentals are very good.

Should they change its three letter code to OMG?
Maybe necessary if they keep finding nuggets in the drilling samples?

While there is uncertainty over what comes next we should all keep in mind the recent offering was way oversubscribed so clearly there are big investors out there who want more of SOLG. That is going to drive the sp a little higher this year while any positive drilling results will see it fly.

An interesting couple of weeks. A week back I sold 2/3 of my stake around 47p as the sp had risen sharply on little news other than an Inv Chron article. Late this afternoon after a couple of days of falls I bought some more as I felt the oil and gas sector likely to have a good year. I made a few quid on the trade as is my way while I understand others are long term holders. What is the future? Hoping the oil assets we hold in the north sea come up trumps and eventually someone makes a bid. The latter some years off imo.

Lambo they have about a years money left and much could happen in that time.
For IMM it all hangs on the FDA and P3 trials hence still something of a punt!.
