.....underwhelmed by the RNS which is as I suspected earlier this morning. If the news was really significant the sp would have cleared 30p today. I remain a LTH (well three years or so) but clearly SOLG has become a get rich slowly sort of punt with the usual AIM like frustrations of an early messianic CEO, over hyped news and promises along the way. Meh!

Me too.....but I want evidence from the market today to see if the sp clears 30p. It should based on this RNS but the market can be fickle and we are a couple of years away from full production so early days.

That put a smile on my face! Getting mining licences and permits can be a minefield in some countries including the EU.
Case study BKY in Spain where they are attempting to start mining for uranium but have been blocked from getting the permits by a motley collection of socialists and green party types. Well done Sandfire and MTR!

What I loved about this RNS & potential JV is that shareholders could be invested in a miner that does not just do Gold but also Tin and of course some Copper, some Zinc and Silver. Tin a great area to be invested in and with regards the existing resources we own It is often the side products that bring down the overall cost of mining.

Take a look at the FT website, search for OMI then look at the financials and the forecast. No debt and one analyst forecasting this will be a multi bagger from where it ended today. Yes there will be some profit taking and dips tomorrow morning and in months to come but when one looks at the resources this small company owns the future is very bright. Climb on board and enjoy the ride.

Yes, cautiously positive. I would expect the P3 trials to be approved later this summer. I remain invested because as I understand it during the first phase three trial a small percentage of patients did get an exceptional benefit from taking the drug while the majority appeared to gain little benefit over the placebo. Statistically the drug failed the first phase three but if the customers for the next attempt are more carefully selected then the drug could pass with flying colours and the market for Lupus is a very large one.

Cultural attitudes of small and institutional investors in different countries? Canada is country built on mining wealth and uranium just another commodity while Europe has been on the end of 30 years of Green/Eco disinformation about nuclear power? Oddities, today an RNS stating that a Spanish investor has upped its stake here yet the gov in Madrid has willfully blocked BKY from getting permits to start mining uranium on environmental grounds in Spain.

Thanks for the summing up JL. By way of balance, how much credit and money printing has occurred in the USA since Biden arrived? The idea that the US $ is viewed as stronger and gold is down in price seems absurd given the money printing going on. But, I am not betting against The Fed or the markets just yet.

Good news, albeit a modest amount of money but if they keep selling the product successfully then a re rate or bid possible. Note I said "if" and the sales involved modest at the moment. A steady trickle of deals required for this year to see the sp start to fly.

R2R a fair point re the canal & Egypt just find CNE a frustrating share to hold as it promised much but delivers less than hoped for. Even today, oil and gas doing quite well as a sector but CNE treading water.

Not great imo but encouraging. There is no guarantee of DMC approval but EVG has sufficient promise to stay invested because of other possible treatments for different cancers etc. Cautiously optimistic but come 0800 where will the market take the sp today? I would hope hope upwards but prob single digit % gain today, in a years time perhaps a lot more.

Disappointed with dip and RNS so re visited the FT portfolio to check numbers and cannot see too much to worry about with YGEN. Like all small bio techs it is volatile and much rides on a couple of products but I know from experience that small investors have to be patient and a little brave. Brave or foolish I am going to hang on a while longer.

Interesting, not many trades since the start of May but all sells. Is this the last of the small investors giving up or the market makers and traders selling to drag down the price to rock bottom before taking POS private for pennies? Could be either but the sp travel very disappointing and no news....

While I understand the diversification into gas assets, Egypt is not that stable a country. It is the kind of place where a change of dictator comes about from civil war followed by seizure of foreign owned assets. Right now, Israel and the USA have a vested interest in keeping Egypt under their management but for how long? Thanks to Nordstream and other pipelines Europe is awash with gas so where is the market for Egyptian gas and at what price?

On the plus side there could be cheaply produced oil under the western desert and if CNE found it that would be a sp game changer. Waiting, waiting, waiting......

Profit taking I suspect but the recent flow of news sufficiently encouraging that I added a few more this morning on the dip. Here for the longer term so willing to be patient but would stop loss if this became a 20% slide because small stocks are volatile and easily manipulated.

This company is being deliberately set up for destruction by a dishonest board. Once the AIM shell is finished the well will be sold on for peanuts by the administrators to a private consortium (some familiar names) who take on the well and hey guess what? With some engineering tweaks the new owners get 12,000 bopd for year after year after year.
