I hope they dont acquire for acquisition sake, is say pretty unlikely with tcw at the helm but one never knows? A silly reverse takeover which gives nice outgoing deal for incumbent mgt. Hank I can assure you im not trying to know down sp for entry. I have been buying a fair few over the past couple of weeks anyway and an am certainly a six month holder. The volumes im purchasing I'm not going to quibble over a penny here or there! I was merely saying I would expect some traders to take some profits after a relatively strong spell. Taking into account this and the expectation of a deal soon which may or may not crystallise on expected time lines until 'we' have clarification on increased cash reserves I feel 30p may be hard to break. Only my opinion of course.

I think 30p will be hard to break without news. This is a few traders plus rebalance on oil price? Do I detect a bit if profit taking this morning as alluded over the weekend. All imho.

I'm not denying the short medium and long term looks good for sqz. I'm just saying it wouldn't surprise me if short term traders took their 5 or 10% cuts as they crystallise producing some balance. Anyway i think we are both aligned but I'd probably be happy for 50% upside in 1 year. Don't know what your 100% time line is!?

The only fact that is important is that there is adequate cash now because of a placing. That's all. I don't want them sending the cash or farming further down for egotistical blue sky that is statistically unlikely to come off. I personally think the bod have got their risk register of upside down. All.imho of course.

In answering your question. No, because they havent a clue and have been wrong footed at each turn!! All imho of course. Or is the way they have progressed it to date, all part of a 'master strategy/plan'? Also lets be clear, work up the near term revenue earners and prioritise blue sky accordingly. I'd say the majors are re-thinking Newfoundland now as well. There seems to be some value in the close proximity corrib blocks possibly and I would concentrate on these imho.

(CP charts) When will the shareholders wake up? I personaly think the sp has underperformed for a long time and unless this bod can redress this perhaps they should get different jobs? That's great Mav but what if they acquired 10k per day? 15k per day? Or 1.5k per day.with some potential development upside?! We simply haven't a clue, the type of agreement (psc/service and or versus concession), the cost base or the potential liabilities we 'may' be purchasing, which will impact free cash flow, p&l etc.

I've had more difficulty over past week trying to buy shares without the ask running away with itself. Even if this is share price catching up with oil price I think there 'may' be more to recent share price strength than that? There certainly seems to be a buyer out there at the moment. Could of course all be down to people 'betting' news 'has' to be on its way and when it doesn't arrive will weaken again? However I'm certainly going to wait until at least April (betting until then!) although 'hopefully' should be ok anyway with 'hopefully' $40mm in bank by December providing support? Having posted thus opinion this us the sure sign all the traders will clip their recent 5% profits this Monday morning!!
