Im a "new" poster on here but rest assured dont trade in and out of shares. Unless something comes up near corrib, corporate wise, after the pvr well result, Ireland exploration has been set back 2-3 years so forget about that. Anyone thinking any different (looks like Hugh lol) will likely be very disappointed. This has always been high risk technically and business environment wise and I think the bod have really taken their eyes off the ball with all this blue sky stuff. They should have been moving UK onshore forwards and if are not successful in doing this in next 6 months (im being generous there after recent Hollywood planning wrong footing!) (not 1 year) then I think time to go. All imho of course.

Not saying he has but check the website (as they are legally obliged to notify all directorships) often company directors hold other positions but on the exec side and shouldn't take too much time up. All imho of course!

Tacuma 're other directorships, I very much doubt they pay the same as eog. Are they even 'active' lol? Honestly mate havent got the time to check but if they pay so well surely he'd have to be dedicating time to them, in which case how much time is he dedicating to eog? All imho of course but I am certainly very dissatisfied shareholder with 'management' delivery to date!!

I totally agree with you but the timing on Erskine was superb. Since then a lot of people have taken semi retirement in oil and gas putting their own / private equity monies plus a lot of private equity getting involved and buying in mgt teams, to be in competition with. As with all markets things can get a little heated and I think sqz have set the bar very high with regard to investments bringing incremental value to the portfolio. If that is incremental to interest earned on cash in bank then fine but if incremental to Erskine returns then we may have a very long (er) wait!! Either way I prefer buying in production to pure exploration as to be quite frank the sqz exploration record hasn't been brilliant. I have every confidence in sqz mgt to make the right investment decisions for shareholders and look forward to the next 12 months!!

You don't just acquire for the sake of it. If after exhaustive search including merger, reverse takeovers and nothing really suitable then return cash to share holders.

I've got a pe around 5.8 at or around current prices however I'd like to think I'm coming in low (ish!). From my perspective we have to see some Columbus news in q1 at the latest and if no other corporate activity this should push the share price into late thirties?!

're ireland drilling. After pvr well like My to be further away than nearer. My advice to hugh would be to concentrate on getting the uk onshore sorted and concentrating on this rather than career defining blue sky potential?! All imho of course!

Agree with the 'negativity'.'They' did take pay cuts but at the end of the day if there aren't jobs elsewhere what's the market?! Also some of their option kpis dont appea to be that stretching and some 'cynical commentators' may say that a lot of them are for normal expectations of job delivery which then 'cushions' the pay cuts? All imho of course!
