Conkclo. Fine. Tbh certainly not my experience of current contractor environment in n sea. I realise things are picking up a bit but this still has to be reflected in current mkt rates except maybe for some for specialist completion/ testing guys. From my persoective sadly there are a lot of really great experienced offshore operatives who would be happy to work for Serica. I have no idea what the relative rates were for BP for this field were of course and also this could be a reason why there was a bit of contractor turnover? I do take your point regarding share prices thrown in the air (something I have not done) but to be very clear the enterprise value of sqz does not reflect the assets acquired. Anything else you allude to us part and parcel of Operating assets. I am sure you have exactly the same mid giving with regard to Chrys. and a lot of other smaller independents and are posting tge same in their respective boards?! All imho of course!!

If there was any real substance to this argument what about Chrys (an investment company taking over $3.8bn of shell assets!!). It is a 'risk' but I would have thought the vast majority of bp ops staff will cross over and with this all the ehss and other bp mgt ctrl systems?! Look at the bod of sqz. All big 4, 30 year plus veterans where relevant. Come on guys this is a mitigated risk!!

Yes there is currently a discount and as time progresses and it becomes more obvious this is a total 'non issue ' then so this gap will be closed. All imho of course. I have held for quite a few years and intend to for at least another year due to expected newsflow over this period. I would no be surprised to have further compelling reasons to hold after this period as well.

Sounds strange but after this week' s meteoric rise, some consolidation and more gradual price increases which keeps the short termers away with their crass posts (lol!!) is for the better rather than more spikes up and potentially down. Jus the Corrib play is a possibility. However just as a very long right well duration can mean good news i remember similar comments made about an fpm well.a few years ago which was in excess of 150 days duration which came in dry. Whilst it us a fair inference that it could be a discovery or isnt a done deal until in rns!! I'm only writing this morning as i said I wouldn't bother on here anymore, because imho, at this juncture in offshore Ireland this is the only real commercial extension that will crystallise in the medium time frame. He/she does have a point actually which I mentioned in passing some time ago. I just put it down to a lapse in judgement going to circle because I think he was actively involved with the Erskine acquisition etc (and managing this) so full credit there?! He may have left because he was itchy for TCW job. He may have gone to get fuller experience of running a company with a gentleman's agreement to return. He may have left simply because he thought there was more potential at circle (would be concerned if this was the case because this would show (potentially) a lapse of judgement ). Taking all that into account I personally do not attribute too high a risk at this juncture, to this appointment but, can see why the chap may bring it up, especially if they lost money in circle? All the above imho of course!!

Let me be clear. 1 I am in profit with my isa eog shares and have taken the non isa losses against other gains. 2 It is relatively small exposure but this still means I can criticise what I want with regard to 'management' of eog. 3 Whether or not I (think) I could do a better job of running eog is irrelevant as I'd have to take a pay cut to do so and im sure would not be considered suitable anyway!! 4 I will now stop my criticism of eog 'management' but pop in, in a few months to see where we are. 5 I welcome any improvement in share price by either current encumbents or new as it will increase my profits so don't forget we are all in this together! All imho of course.

Ruddy in sorry mate but cannot agree with you at all. Do you work in o&g, specifically upstream? If course not saying it was you but I even saw recently, someone posting about off shore drilling being easier than onshore lol!! A lot of the issues could have been managed pro actively and sorted by now. I have no idea why this was not done in such a manner. The onshore assets are simply the life blood of this company and keep it running!! All imho of course but from my perspective time is is running out for this bod!!

Exactly. I have a 'bit' of commercial experience and conceptually thus this is a novel fantastic deal fur sqz!! As everything is pfmce driven this is a no brainer and the Iran issue is a red herring with regard to sqz issues. With regard to divestment from bp it may well have been an incentive but as above and in earlier post this issue certainly covered contractually. I've said it before and I'll say it again tcw is bloody brilliant and when he eventually goes this will be one if the greatest losses and risks for sqz!! Who knows why Mitch left sqz for circle (that always looked an over hyped like of crap) and his 'judgement' in on that matter does concern me but not overly because there could have been all sorts of reasons / motivations!! All imho of course!!

Well here's hoping 're eog!! (Lol auto corrected to dog). Just trying to understand and assess deal over on sqz. Currently my largest holding so happy at the moment as seems an incredible deal! Who knows what the sp reaction will be when returns from suspension of course!
