PP sorry I promised not to post on here but let's take a look at the facts! Kosmos walked away after 3d interpretation not oil price. They have spent a fortune offshore Sen and Mauri!! Just 'perhaps' the prospects weren't quite as good as 'everyone' think they are !! Since then Hugh has assured is there's been loads of interest in the full data room expecting to update us all on this many many many times over. What do we get? After all the massive interest, only Cairn, the out and out drillers choosing a bit of seismic acqusition!! You can be assured they will have looked long and hard at the 'worked up' drill ready prospects, so we have to ask, why didn't they snap these up?! I am not saying corrib may not come up with something but am concerned that, in contrast with many on here, we do not have the commercial nous to not get shagged black and blue by any 'big' oil wanting in! Please note all imho of course and I am 'disgruntled' by the amount of time wasted by the err management, to work up our onshore assets which would 'possibly' have reduced the amount of equity we will end up giving away for any Irish farm outs?

PP, it's not about luck, it's about mitigated risk. Your wish list (excluding specifics about corrib but requiring two farm outs for ireland) should have been completed last year! Without a doubt the bod delivery has been lowest quartile this year and none of the options should be issued and that doesn't give an excuse for even cheaper ones to be issued, during the next year either. I think its insulting to issue options taking into account the 'salary sacrifice' they did at eog. For about the millionth time, if the g&a us too high for the needle it doesn't work so cut or change the model. Another poster on here commented on sp pfmce by current board, which is simply crap compared to peer group, even taking into account the difficult times for the industry - considering the uk production back-up during this period. All imho of course.

Tacuma apologies for the misinterpretation. As I say I have pocket money in eog so will not continue to post on here (was considering buying a few more). However could not go without saying I do agree with you, re ceo not getting involved with the 'local' mgt of pr. What was lacking was Hugh' s reactive approach to getting this solved. He should have got SME involved ages ago. This has potentially cost earlier production and hence potentially cost shares dilution so yes I do question his ability to prioritise cash spend efficiently. Hi Tacuma, interesting post and don't take this wrong but from what lens are you expressing these opinions? Do you / have you worked in e&p? I just would like to understand the position you are making these opinions from? I don't want to name members of the bod and specifically comment on them but from my own experience I would not agree with your observations (but equally wtfdik ?! ). One thing I would agree on (if indeed you were saying that politely!) is that Hugh is not the right man to lead this company. We need a businessman (whether by engineer/ bd/ ehs/ g&g / finance back ground I don't care) rather than someone chasing blue sky at what appears to be the cost of the 'tangible ' producing assets. I am not sure about the g&g prowess here but fgs some of this large acreage must hit something worth drilling, by simple luck, let alone g&g analysis!! Best of luck all! Of course all of the above imho!!

Ceilingcat you cant produce one and not the other hence forties shut down, everything sqz shut down but as below this is of national significance (international really as impacts the Brent price!) hence will always get sorted as quickly as possible!! I personally think this will be a case of under promise and over deliver and everything back on line befire year end. Nice extra 400k p2 reserved for sqz, hopefully!! All imho of course!!

Haven't you heard the world is awash with lng?! Security of supply would mean as far as (economically) possible diversify or have this availability for negotiations. I have no idea what s&t prices will be in the future but dont expect Brexit to push them up materially. Following your argument (literally) why not develop English shale gas resource?!

Bloody hell lol! The Norway reference was in the context of 'european' suppliers!! It goes without saying most of gas comes from best mates Russia. Jus that was my point. Don't expect them to pump gas to merry old England when they can use their own and save on transportation charges!! Or are we already talking multi tcf has discovery as per eog rns?!

What European neighbours? Most gas comes from Norway albeit through 'European' pipes but do you really think post Brexit they will up the charges? We will just buy lng then? You think if the Irish are gas deficient, they would be happy to pipe over to the 'english'. Corrib is for Ireland use and the tie backs will remain so as well. All imho of course!! Hi all, 1re. CCF, completely concur please continue to post. 2 re no farm outs to date, come on do you really think big oil will be that interested in what Hugh has to say or has promised? (Lol!) They will make their judgements on what is in data room and how 'worked up' this is! Simple. 3 The reason why the share price is so poorly performing is because the market doesn't believe in Hugh et al. The big oil don't care about what they say and will farm in (or not) regardless of 'their' respective opinions. Actually the rns today is quite positive imho but of course the general mkt probably, as above, views it as jam tomorrow! All imho of course!!

I ask if the Irish acreage was so high quality why hasnt it been farmed out to date? This is either because it isnt high quality or it hasn't been worked up enough to a level expected of high quality operators to justify farming in. Sometimes I think Hugh et al simply thought that buying the acreage and then telling all the big operators how high quality it was (and how interested they all were!!) would be sufficient for marketing purposes double lol!! All imho of course.

I'll be honest that thought had crossed my mind. (Re jobs) The lack of delivery is completely unacceptable. All imho!

I'd much much prefer to hold sqz than buy hur yet. A lot of engineering that can go wrong / get delayed, then potential compartmentalisation to identify!! Not saying it isnt a good buy with gambling money but my sqz funds ain't gambling!! All imho of course!
