Exxon Mobil farming in to the galp stuff is a good omen but at the end of the day this isn't related to the sqz seismic. Whilst there is increasing industry interest in Namibia the sqz blocks and seismic have been around for a long time and if it were so compelling would probably already have been farmed in by now? I'd love to be wrong but when I was working around that region (nearly 20 years ago now!!) the Namibian govt. couldn't give the blocks away!! All imho and investment advice intended!!

Ok as you specifically asked me I'll reply back even though I'm on a self imposed 2 week holiday from eog board as you lot must get fed up with my 'reality' posts. I think total are only place holding and actually haven't committed to anything material have they? So they can drill or drop and keep the blocks until forced to do so? You're very right about timing though but lets not forget there are costs (ie both g&a and licence fees) associated with holding licences etc. which do add up!

Jack mate haven't a clue. As I posted earlier though I'd be disappointed if less than 1.15 after Columbus fid announcement which will hopefully be around April May time?! Hi Tac, yes apologies I was just replying to an earlier statement regarding 'valuable' seismic and it was a genuine question to promote sensible debate. Re Hugh being an excellent geologist, I have no idea but the 'market' doesn't seem to see the geology on our Irish assets (except so far unproven Corrib 'concept' currently being sold) so I question why he was so so so enthusiastic about it? (Either so brilliant he has seen something everyone has 'missed or....) Somethings 'amiss' me thinks?! Right my self inflicted two week lse eog holiday clock starts ticking again so you lot are rid of me for a little while!! Gibbers hear what you're saying matey but my question is why wasn't there this 'epiphany' 2 years ago when I and quite a few significant others were thinking the same but were generous enough to 'give the benefit of doubt'. Had this been two years ago I would have said yes, 'reasonable' timing but now wtgr the congratulatory coments are laughable. Also worth referring to adv posts as well matey!! I know I'm meant to be taking a two week sojourn from Lse eog but tbh all this talk about valuable seismic seems a 'little funny' to me. Essentially, seismic is acquired to work up drill prospects. We have been marketing for an eternity with it seems (lol) the whole of the e&p showing extreme interest in the eog datarooms. Unfortunately there hasn't been much crystallization of anything remotely commercial after this 'exercise' and supposedly loads of companies have had time to review this valuable seismic. At this point in time it has (appears to have) come to nothing, therefore I ask, (serious question) exactly how valuable is this seismic? Once again as ever, dyor and no investment advice intended!!

Mav wtgr respect just because Tullow are drilling doesn't add any value to our licence. I am not saying it will not happen I'm just saying imho it is unlikely and if it does it us also.jmlikelh yo be commercial. That us my opinion and I am entitled to post it. Did you know Tullow walked away from Kudu.

Mommur I would be surprised (very pleasantly) if sqz drilled Namibia. Regardless of other blocks encouraging g&g I am not so confident of sqz's. Even if they did drill cos / pos will be very low plus route to commercially very difficult? Didn't Tullow 'write off' Kudu? All imho and dyor of course!

Mommur huge buy? Larger than the 200k you already mentioned? I don't think you'll see 80p again unless some (material) unforeseen problems occur? Best of luck though. I have no interest what the price is now. Im only waiting until May time (earliest) as a few milestones should have crystallised or, more information be available to increase share price ? I'm taking positivity that there 'appears' to be a buyer lurking trying to take advantage of the news yesterday? All imho of course!
