Actually under water eddy has an even better ramp over on adv. i.e. 20p per share just for the farmed down production. Unless he gets that ramp over here unfortunately the title of 'rampmeister general' stays with drewky on this lse board. All imho of course.

He He, I don't think will ever go 'pop' but if a lot of 'issues' arise, returns may not be quite as large or on the time lines optimistically expected as this is o&g so, just be aware of these possibilities, that if u need the money, was what I as trying to say!! I'm not offering any advice here 're iog good or bad buy etc and to be clear expect to join GG in his kind of numbers held (soonish ahem!) but what must always be remembered no matter how good something looks NEVER invest more than you can afford to lose!! Only today I've been reading the prm thread over on adv and yes admittedly people have been very very stupid in some of their decisions and only have themselves to blame but there are some pretty bad stories over there because people invested what they couldn't afford to lose. I personally come to "afford to lose" definition by asking myself, if this goes bust will my life be any different tomorrow? If it ain't, then boy I may be p****ed off (plus my beneficiary lol) but in theory I can afford to lose that money! Absolutely no advice intended re whether iog good or bad buy but full advice intended about t'uther stuff and as ever always dyor! Best of luck all.

Tommy me old mucker I don't have a crusade against the bod. I sincerely hope they prove me wrong but I certainly would expect some form of communication at end of October. What if no propositions received? Would you expect them to remain silent? What if only one received and not in the expected required parameters pre-set? Surely they'd have to rns that as well? If you set a deadline, then when arrived, communicate how many interested parties that adhered to that deadline. Anyways we will see at end of October!!

Let's be very clear there would be an awful lot of negative sentiment for one of those execs and I think at the time there was a bit of questioning on this over on adv. Anyways we will all know in 4 weeks and if a total damp squib, would Hugh survive to be doing 'cracker' videos or, would be be replaced by one of those two execs anyway? All imho of course.

Irelands resistance to h/c's will not be a problem fir big oil imho. At the end of the day if they are in negotiations at end of October then rns that but I'd want a bit of meat on it because I think this team are either green or we could be potentially exposed to them stringing us along. I know a few who think they already have lol. At the end of the day if the assets are compelling they will sell themselves and there will be offers at end of October (as long as properly worked up this time). But we are of course talking about aex here and let's face it, these words really stick in me throat like and I have a tear in me eye saying it but, I'm starting to think no one has any confidence in anything aex 'mgt' say. As you know bruv, next to you I am their biggest fan but, I might have to shift me pov soon. ONE THING FOR ALL ME AEX BROTHERS IN ARMS TO REFLECT ON, where would the share price be if we didn't have such a world class high performing mgt.?! Can we start a petition to increase their salary packages further as I am afraid we could be losing them soon, to some majors looking for their own bod progression plans? Let's not reflect too much on possibles at the moment. At the end of day if no farm downs at end of October it's time for a real change of bod or else if they can get 'finance' with no dilution to share holders then I'm happy. Cannot see any way in which that would be possible. Why on Earth would investors provide finance for an exploration well if they couldn't farm these out to the industry and certainly not what I bought shares in eog for. But for the moment wait until end of October because we may be pleasantly surprised? I'm personally not confident based upon my jwn interpretation of these articles etc. but here's hoping.....

I think there is a largish seller willing to take 17.5p or thereabouts and us being worked through until they have finished? Me, I'm taking a 'break' from here until we see real treasury changes and will return then as this is probably the next real price changing catalyst?
