Tovic or at least, "we are in commercial discussions with x potential partners for x potential blocks". That is all I'm stating and the absence of such a statement after such a lot of opening fanfare 'could' be construed negatively by shareholders. Nothing anti bod or anti EOG in there just my opinion. Yes agree Tommy. However hugh made a large point of stating this and emphasising this imho. When there has been a lot of interest which has crystallised with commercial discussions it is also not unknown to disseminate that at end of data room period as well. Equally if there are none at all at that that point I would expect that to be disseminated as well, rather than wait for some arbitrary (reporting?) period in the future to bring this to the markets attention as well? Is that an unfair inference? Just out of interest Tommy have u ever worked on such data rooms?

Why specifically highlight the closing date for farm downs as end of October then (with major interest shown from all manner of o&g companies highlighted as well?), if there is no intention to update mkt of interest in this material process for eog? What was newsworthy of the mention of this date? I am saying if we do not hear a peep about this process at the end of October then I would not expect this to be positive with regards to share price that is all, as I am perfectly entitled to post I think?

Drewky can you present the facts about shorting please? I see myself as pretty seasoned investor and can see no proof of this so am genuinely interested.

Right apologies drewky as I said I wouldn't post. I have not seen the binding agreement but I'm pretty sure if the licence isn't granted we will quite quickly find this will not be so 'binding?! I am not saying this will happen but I am sure if the govt chose to do so, they could do so legally. Of course you and ape man seem far better placed to determine this based upon some of your respective posts. I do not personally expect this to be the case but as earlier posted I think a few investors are not as confident or are just damn tired with delayed promises? This is the reason for recent share price weakness and not mm conspiracies or shorters or posters on here, hoping to manipulate a lower price either to average down or buy in for first time. This is of course all my own opinion and hopefully now I'll be able to get off here as I waste way too much of my life on this (as I think CP does as well!) but I just can't help trying to put across a balanced viewpoint. Guys I really hear what you're saying and you know I'm not a fan of this mgt structure (or the new appointees) and am surprised hugh has survived to this point however I think we just have to wait until end of October for some form of update and thus isn't too long now is it? I am hoping the silence is because there is work being done and two way communications with regard to farm down process (being the optimist). Experience tells me and looking at share price reaction, this isnt the case and that worst case eog are simply sitting on their hands hoping for bids to come in at last minute and that is why there has been so much silence. There have been some points on here regarding no expectations of communications around process at end of October and considering the fan fare and imho, somewhat green remarks made at the time of opening of data room, any non update will be treated contemptuously by the share holders who may well infer no news is bad news (as I would do to be honest). Hence long post but main point being here's hoping for some form of update at end of October (good or bad) because if not and nothing material crystallises by year end, the share price reaction will be far worse because pis will be assuming the gap in communication was merely a time delay tactic. So conclusion imho, not long to wait and we are in this boat regardless anyway as there don't seem too many alternatives available if this doesn't work this time but hopefully we will know our 'fate' soon. All imho of course and as ever dyor.

Drewky this is the point which you seem to choose to miss. Aex whether verbally or previously rns'd have missed deliverables and time lines many times. Small pi's are quite rightly tired of this and in light of previous mgt pfmce are not as personally confident in mgts ability to deliver and the fact that they didn't publicly pronounce some of the 'conditionality' discussed now, which I think, is fair to say they were aware of previously? This is simply the reason why the share price is so low. Nothing at all with posts on here or other conspiracy theories!! Do you seriously believe the share price weakness is to do with this or simply tired fed up pi's who are selling up for a variety of reasons!!?? Take a look over on adv where a few better quality conversations going on. This may help you and ape man better understand some of the frustrations and risks here? As ever all imho of course and don't take non reply as rudeness or acceptance of your 'counter arguements' as I'll be off now until next rns (unless of course some really Muppet rubbish gets posted that I cannot resist replying to!) Why coerkin, I'd wait until no licence then just do a 100% licence deal with the govt for the development? Can we get some mm or bb posting driven agenda, conspiracy theories up quickly please because these are the 'real' reasons why the share price is so weak and apart from 'uwe' there don't 'seem' to be that many buyers about?
