SP might have conditioned some investors to thinking this is meagre increase represents an opportunity to sell. Those that can read the market cap and put that together with the size of this gold miner think otherwise. Haven't sold a penny in all of this volatility. Long for proper money.

Even the Truss and the Blinken have said the most draconian sanctions - obviously not everything - will roll back on ceasefire and troops leaving Ukr but POG will find a GPM solution in any case. There looks to be another up to 2 weeks of conflict before Russia cuts off DPR border and encircles Ukr forces. Mariupol will be taken in full before then. Talk of advancing on Kyiv after that is NATO warmonger fantasy and western media bluster.

I don't think large investors care of measure success by fractions of a penny. That's bread crumb bedsit trader mentality. Bags interest proper players.

As a rule for making money on the markets - ignore financial journalists and brokers - they serve themselves and their clients. Treat them as professional crooks and your investing fortunes will improve for it.

I've said before, the West needs a "bad guy" and if there isn't one, it'll create one by exploiting fault lines and there's plenty of them - religous, cultural, tribal, the US has them all well researched.

In the meantime, 3p is being supported by fresh blood and we've seen POG washout motivated sellers below 2.9p and even those that sold their shares acquired in the 1.7p- 2.4p range before the rise to 5p. All good for a healthy market.

Do not see the logic for this. POG produces semi-refined gold dore (vs POLY which I believe sells in concentrate form only) and need only sell to any non-sanction entity beit direct to the refinery, via a specialist dealer or another financial institution. The Ugold route would mean Ugold buys the dore or manages the refinery interaction. POG could always call on whoever Ugold - subject to that entity being UK sanctioned - use to sell its gold. On its own, this does not look like a huge challenge and given the known quality of POGs output, a refinery might be comfortable buying directly.

The offtake with GPM was essentially to de-risk the debt for both parties though arguably more for the lenders insistence and advantage. That debt agreement will need amending to release the offtake. I wager as an investor that is being organised and will be done.
