On this subject, what retrospective punishments would you suggest for the west in South America, SE Asia and Middle East over last 40 years and indeed interfering in Ukraine over the last 20 years? Just when we talk about compensation and stuff, has the 'international community' come up with a formula that considers loss of life, asset damage, GDP destruction and long term dependency? Personally on Russia, only a fool thinks this couldn't stop tomorrow if diplomacy and protection of human life.
