Oh, I especially liked the emphasis on data (skinTC). Getting consumers to gift the company their genetic material (and pay for it) and building out the databases for the future - this bit made me smile. The clarification to pivot the business's toward recurring revenue streams (a corporate obsession these days for obvious reasons, I hate it personally, but from a business perspective Yay!).

Nobody is confused mate, their RNS revolves around CE marking of the visitect antigen test - there is no smoke or mirrors, it is what it is.

Look, come on let's face it, the small sample size is a problem ( for serious investors) as is the ambiguous statement of 'almost 100% sensitivity' (can't be bothered to look up exact wording, but you get the gist) on just 16? samples....it's encouraging, it works, it looks like it's going to be accurate but there are still lots of reasons to sit on the fence as a potential investor.

The inflection point comes with full clinical val study completed, some statement of partnership with GOV, industry, some significant news that demonstrates a roadmap to production of the scanner, the microchips etc. All of this is a little up in the air at the moment. Had it been announced that the trial was completed, GOV required thresholds for this type of test were exceeded and as such a partner had been secured to manufacture the scanner, the chips, Dell.... and on and on blah, blah etc then we'd be at 50-60p and rising.

Sorry, you'll have to wait longer grasshoppers.

Interesting musings. My thoughts when this initiative was first announced was that credibility was going to be EVERYTHING. Skincare in these last 30yrs has become a vast multi-billion $$$£££ global industry (I know many of you know this by the way) with additional value coming from the metrosexual man.

I hope and pray they play things straight. If it works and can accurately pinpoint products, that will match and suit specific skin types - it's going to be huge (why I was genuinely excited; skincare is an area of expertise for me). As we know the global addressable market for this product, especially with the advent of the internet, is vast.

But, it has to be credible to conquer. Any sniff of favour for one companys product line over others, without plausible reason, patently ignoring other credible players, and it all falls apart with accusations of Skintrustclub being merely a shill outfit for a clique of brands; the sciencey stuff goes out of the window and social media destruction ensues. It's a tricky and delicate balance to navigate; let us all hope Mrs Brandon knows her stuff - she wrote a book on skincare don't cha know, I discovered that after digging post Microsaicgate.
