Thaigirl, I feel the budget will have limited impact on the FTSE100; most of the heavyweights have substantial business outside UK and are predominantly driven by currency exchange rates, the global economy/macro trends and events, including the current banking issues.

I personally don't like doing any individual investments below £10k; too much hassle with fees, stamp duty, buy sell spread...and my own time invested in researching and following the company.

I have filtered one person...and one person only!
I get this message a lot, every day: "This message has been filtered, please adjust your filters to view". Needless to say, I don't adjust the filter!!
It's so satisfying not to see the daily drivel from this person. He and probably everybody else will know who this is.

I think the meet the investor event is a positive step, as I agree communication should the be raised to a different level. A low share price is in no-one's interest, especially if we need further funding rounds. If we do one know, it's basically a down-round, which always is problematic and undermines confidence.
I will certainly submit comments and questions before the meeting. All serious investors should!!

On reflection, wouldn't it be smarter for Delt to farm-down or sell a stake in Selene? My understanding is that it is closer to being fully de-risked (proper drill ready) vs Pensacola, hence any discount factor will be smaller?
In my view, Selene on its own ought to be worth more than the current share price! Almost a free option to buy at this level, if the Delt team can show they can deliver on value creation! The opportunities are there on a plate!

Exploration, are you suggesting 10-50 $cents/boe? Or did you mean 10-50% of the de-risked value? The former sounds very low given where we are and if so, there is no merit in selling the full stake now; and it would be better to raise more capital and go the full way until things are de-risked or nearly de-risked, only then offload!?

Sjm, thanks for the heads up, yes, I totally agree. Clearly Delt cannot talk about their negotiations, but this is an option, which makes a lot of sense. Brilliant partner or buyer! Either way will work well. I'm very optimistic, but we need to understand the outcome of the post drill analysis!

In general, you can't ignore the fact they have secured several deals, incl. Shell, which is not that easy. So far they have delivered on Pensacola, more to come obviously and not derisked (yet).. Selene on track. What's your issue, please?

Someone sold 73 shares! Why would anybody do that?
Surely, it's not the Market Maker providing liquidity, as the market appears to be very liquid, especially for such a small company.

I am not sure more licences will make any difference to the share price (real value absolutely, but not on the current erratic trading).
We really need news on the analysis of the Pensacola drill, a farm out/down deal or dare I say: a well structured fundraise! I really don't mind participating in a fund raise, it would possibly preserve even more future value. More happy with farm out/down or outright disposals, as that would move the share price to a completely different level!

Sjm, out of interest, do you know who has eyed Deltic or just some of the assets, apart from the obvious one: Shell ?(farmdown deal maybe).
I think there is every possibility that we may have further news on progress around the 16th. Lots of good things to come...perhaps more licences, dealmaking to fund the way forward, a plan for Pensacola, Selene, etc. Not a one trick pony! Plenty of risk, but also plenty of upside.

If you are shorting the share, I suggest you become a bit more sophisticated in your approach to talk the share down.
Maybe you are ill? Maybe you are superstitious, hoping if you talk it down, then your £200 investment will go up?
In any case, sadly you are adding no value to this board. Perhaps filter yourself out?

Interesting. Any idea who Canaccord Genuity is investing/holding for? A bit of a drop there. They are also joint broker, it seems.
