I think even a die hard WSG shareholder will expect a large impact on this contract (to say the least, in the interim anyway)
It was expected to contribute roughly £8mill of the £14.4mill booked recurring revs in the next year. So £6.4mill solid enough with first world projects and SL.
So, how to replace the £8mill if we write this off (of now, i expect it to be producing revs and soon but for this paper exercise)?
The "imminent" MSC must be imminent, i doubt it will be as big as DRC so maybe £4mill, which is still excellent, leaving a £4mill shortfall.
I really don't think they included the Ghana election results of no reason, Scanport were favourites of the old gov and hugely corrupt. Their website is now down and i think their contract has due to run out in Jan. Tema scanning is in a mess with long delays and poor performance
After an expectation of $10+/TEU in Tema last time, we got about $1-2. The throughput has now doubled to about 2mill TEUs a year. If they somehow swooped back in, with a larger slice, say $5/TEU, suddenly it would be making £8mill revs with basically no start up or capex and the total recurring revs could be up at circa £18.4mill.
We shall see eh, i guess some of you might think its unlikely
