Would Chill actually know what individual shops are selling of Chill products. They know what Chill are selling themselves to the distributors and at some point in the near future they have said they will give us this information broken down in more detail.
We don't know what the individual distributors policies are on stock levels. Do they use a JIT system and keep stocks low or do they build 2 months supply of stocks. We don't know. Same for the individual stores. So many moving parts to even try to start to understand the sales levels.
If demand is an issue at the minute then it will be around price or marketing or a mix of both. In terms of taste, I'm pretty sure most people would at least buy one of each pack just to give them a go. That in itself would generate tens/hundreds of millions of dollars of sales. People just don't know they're there yet. At least not enough people.
Marketing - Word will catch on. Rhino and Ransom will do there bit, Instagram will get wind, influences, Rodeo stars, sports stars. There are plenty of different marketing tools and strategies that can be employed to help spread the word. We can see Chill are already using some of these. The brand itself CHILL, what a name, the logo is awesome. The marketeers have got a pretty straight forward job to do imo. It just doesn't happen over night or even in a few months.
Price - could be a sticking point for some but if Chill are going down the premium product route (which they are) then price has to reflect that. Introductory promotions will go someway to bridging the gap between some of the competitors but at this stage we don't need everyone buying our products. Eventually, when we have the volume and infrastructure in place to benefit from economies of scale/scope then we can look to pass them savings onto the consumers. By then we will have established our premium brand but at an affordable price. Great combination.
So far, I am comfortable here. The Comms could certainly improve but at least the bod are aware and they are actually doing something about it. If Viridian want paying this year or even next then they'll need the SP to be at least 60p. The bod themselves have just had 5.775m shares vest 50% with a buy price of 14p and 50% at 18p. The current SP is currently below both of those prices so that reassures me that the bod are very much incentivised to get this back to triple figures.
Imo it will come.
