I made a comment on this post and basically said how come all other energy companies seem to flourish in Mongolia except PM. I mentioned about the alleged corruption and the 2 MP's and Activist and asked them to do a story on it. Was trying my luck tbh. I actually received a reply from them and they said will do, surely. WOS was posted for information's sake. IMO Bowley is a credible source and definitely has contacts within the MOG. He is also invested in PM with a tidy sum. Personally i do not think what he has said is false news. I personally am happy for him to post on here if he hears things that could be to the detriment of my investment. I would rather things were "OUT IN THE OPEN" so whether true or not they can be addressed. From Bowley's post i have emailed Fiona Blyth and Nusrat Ghani, Fiona the new British Ambassador and Nusrat who was the MP who met Mining Minister Ganbaatar in Canada and who was invited to the Mongolian Mining Conference next month.

It does not hurt our position and IMO can only benefit if these kind of people are kept in the loop.

Doc, they way I look at it is, yes Malone was involved as I was in email contact with him and Buck and PM's brokers.

Who knows if Malone being involved made a difference. With Bowleys contacts in Mongolia and him getting involved who knows if he will make any impact.

I will also email Fiona Blyth and copy in PM and the brokers again.

Thought process is the more people who are aware of potential corruption, the better for us. Let's get it out in the open. They are in desperate need of foreign investment, they will not want bad press as this could scupper everything for them. They have already invited the UK MP who was in Canada to the Mongolian mining conference in September. They have had a meeting with Buck and our representatives in IOM. They cannot afford to continually fk us about.

As per Bowley, he has been informed that Buck is in Ullanbataar for the next 2 weeks. He needs to bloody stay there until the LP is registered and everything else has been sorted and ready to get that oil out the ground.

He needs to meet up with the British Ambassador to exert some pressure on the MG

I can confirm I have actually seen a copy of the "strictly confidential" email that Bowley sent to someone high up in the Mongolian government with regards the LP and PM. This email was sent 2 weeks before the cabinet approved the LP. I am actually hoping now that Bowley sending a new email to the British government/ambassador tomorrow it will put more pressure on the MG.

I think this is the only way that this will move forward. We need this LP well before year end

Doc, not saying the MG would allow it, but what if PC's intentions are to buy out block XX from PM. Get Heron on stream with numerous wells and then pre the refinery being complete, put in an offer. Taking the refinery out the scenario, PC did the same with Soco when they bought out Block 19 and 21. In other words might be in the interest of PC to play ball with PM
