Wouldn't the operation be stopped immediately without giving an opportunity to eliminate the violation.

✅Minister of Foreign Affairs B. Bat-Erdene:- I don't think your country has such a soft law. Your company needs to fulfill the duties of our State Inspector General without dispute. I will give you one month to fulfill the decision of the Mongolian court and the duties of the State Inspector General. On December 1, the official letter "in the making, in the process" will not be accepted. I'm going to see reality on my own.

Thanks Thorno, my thoughts also, the more people that are made aware and the more it is "out there in the open" the better. I also tend to think that corruption in Mongolia is being tackled and is a long, slow process. A much as Buck and PM p*ss me off with their lack of communication and treatment of private investors i do believe their hands have been tied. I still think this will come good, just feel the same as most genuine investors on here, ruddy frustrated, Hopefully we get the RNS we are all waiting for very soon so we can "at last" move forward.

MON1 - i have continually been emailing, posting on X (Twitter) posts, FB posts whenever there is mention of requiring foreign investment in Mongolia, where the MG are promoting their Mining/OIl industry. I have emailed, posted on the UK Embassy in Mongolia FB page, emailed the UK Ambassadors, previous Philip Malone now Fiona Blyth and copied in James Cleverly and Rishi Sunak. I have also copied in Financial Journalists of the alleged corruption. I have copied in Ganbaatar the Mining Minister.

Nusrat Ghani who previously met Ganbaatar in Canada at a Mining Conference has been in Mongolia (at the invitation of Ganbaatar) the last few days and has met with numerous people discussing cooperation and investment. She was also made aware months ago ref the alleged corruption, so i am hoping she will bring the issues of Petro Matad to the meetings. I have mentioned on numerous occasions that they are supposed to protect the interests of UK investors. We will see if they actually do.

One thing that has really p*ssed me off is that i have also emailed Mike Buck directly and he couldn't be bothered to reply back and got his IR Admin to send back a standard email. When i replied to say i wanted a response of Buck he hasn't bothered to reply. The silence from him and PM is disgraceful in my eyes. Sollodgeblue, thanks for that. That's great news, not only Buck presenting and being there, Chairman of Petro China also there. Let's hope Buck is stating what a wonderful place Mongolia is for foreign investment now he has got his land permit and ready to take the oil out the ground.

If he hasn't got it, I would make sure everyone knows of the issues PM have had and are still having.
