A student party could start off with Yunus as PM if they win at the election. I hope sense prevails and we here should certainly be the sensible advocates for an immediate start at Phulbari for climate changing reasons!

Yunus naturally gets surrounded by a load of vultures in the US after being rightly saved from Hasina. He definitely is anti coal because of climate change so he needs to stop burning browner coal and cut out import costs and associated carbon dioxide to the atmosphere. He should help pay off debts with own coal so he can go for no growth. Profit is required for his ambitions. Etc etc.....

Agree with GP. Hamid was a strong advocate of coal and must have been thwarted; if he stays on he will know how things operate and maybe quickly implement OPM at Phulbari. Hasina wasn't listening was she.

Yunus would draw up a fairer contract/arrangement compared to BNP imo without backhanders and lobbying. He is the best person for squeaky clean governance.

Just one trade so far. Yunus is big on no growth sentiment but I think he will find he needs to balance the books and there is a lot of social welfare/pensions to upgrade in Bangladesh and Phulbari is actually the greenest option on the table imo and provides jobs and brings on board a happy PC and China.
