The new guidance from HHS in US doesn't seem to require any validation and AS says Adeptrix are the legal promoters of bams in the latest presentation/questions. A US firm then with their own lab developed test and the affimers in it with exquisite sensitivity. The White House would be mad not to get on board.

Budget dictates the AVCT test as will be cheaper overall due to tier 1,2,3/traffic light being rendered superfluous and allow a home test which does not have the hazard of spread due to infection from poor clinical practice. Local track and trace or monitoring will be to make sure the LFT has been taken and negative if positive you will have to isolate and your family. QED

I meant antibody or PCR test when I said antibody the latter detects the antigen but after culture. I have to confess I have always mixed up the PCR with antibody- it always pays to take time researching (or learning is more to the point) if you want to hold on to your investment.

The main point just to simplify is that if you are mass testing it is the specificity that is more important and antibody tests are not as good as antigen/saliva LFT to achieve this. That will get people permission to discard the mask. Sensitivity of the saliva test is best because it isolates the pre syptomatic and early symptomatic on testing not post a lab procedure of an antibody test.
