Ophidian, thanks. It appears Avacta have had to put in all the leg work to bring the device to manufacture and I thought that was a Cytiva forte. I did say I was worried about dragging feet over there and I hope AVCT can get the LFT to market without being hostage to any supplers. The strips were originally a Buckinghamshire factory product I believe. Tight reins could mean higher margin but better quality assurance too.

Ophidian- I think when Porton Down got involved a buffer was required so the template from Cytiva was redundant. I haven't listened to the presentation so only guessing but you did suggest that had caused a delay. I am always happy to be put right because otherwise I would be wrong. The strip was a very important component. Is it still made in the UK?

You look for rationality Chiron but i look for irrationality. There should have been simple affimer LFT out there weeks ago and it took a resurgence for HMG to get serious as it wasn't going away. The regulators/Porton Down and the rest of them just get their knickers in a twist.

The interference in the test space by HMG has meant a disruption of work flow and hiatus of news which the MMs are using to fleece as many PIs as possible. There is a danger AS will lose his composure.
