I am willing to be an affimer guinea pig and get AVCT to the next level. The ARM sale to Nividia is going through scrutiny by MMC and the former boss wants to see it back on LSE. Something went wrong with the tech transfer from Cytiva resulting in the collaboration apart from the strip, breaking down. I don't think local searches will contain or identify these variants in sufficient numbers and a failure might reflect badly on tests. I have suggested the responsible way to behave is to take personal responsibility if you are someone who goes out shopping etc. for your own testing and be accountable for being negative/positive once a cheap test is available. Why are'nt the government realising they can never impose a test it has to be normal behaviour by a cooperative public. T&T is a waste of resource.
