Robotics, this test being CE marked is a Mologic test with AVCT affimers and they can sell it instead of their own tech. It is probably better and cheaper to make but as Mologic are selling closer to cost to the third world etc as a recipient of grants, it is to their advantage. The S&S transfers to BBI and ABH for the AVCT lead test. Everyone is a winner especially Africa and Mongolia with the best @ cost test.

It would be expected that Mologic use affimers if they are better early detectors and reagent is cheaper to make. After all why spend more money and get an inferior test and I am sure the government want to send the best abroad. The EU surely can't delay such a noble intention and consequently facilitate AVCT LFT for EU use. Mologic are not giving up on their own tech though and a dual function test might extend the positive curve a bit that affimers miss.

I think they are waiting for the scale up to happen and the initial batch figures are not released because it is a government led not AVCT test . The rns has sidestepped the government standstill on news and forced a mention by referring to regulatory bodies in Europe which Mologic are spearheading.
