No Monkshood, so why do the idiots not pass the b.... test and get some proper usage data with a test that isolates the infectious. The test itself is not going to hurt anyone anymore than standing next to someone breathing out germs. It is so simple, no degree required.

Howzaty there is no measure possible apart from reduction of the R rate by mass testing and data analysis of R rates reducing. It is pointless measuring because you are then too late as the inventor said measuring with pcr/CT is for analysis and research.

Monkshood, AS stressed in the interview that spike proteins were robust so the detection of them should be easy if they are present but I don't think they multiply with CT as that is not dna and yet they are the infectious part of covid. The testing needs to be catching those with covid as early as possible and this only happens by capturing the spike proteins which are present in clinical samples but not artificial samples which are used after being selected using nucleic samples with a few residual spikes along for the ride.

The consortium has been subject to NDA and therefore the cause of unwarranted speculation because the Government have seemed fit to be in NDA despite committing private company manufacturers capacity and infrastructure with promise of orders for a discounted test not yet confirmed as available when they had no right to impose an NDA for what is a purely commercial arrangement ie cheaper tests. I do think it true it has helped AVCT build capacity with the credibility bestowed and therefore get the LFD through evaluation. The CE mark will then be transferred to Avacta after it receives ISO13485 accreditation, which is expected by the end of March 2021." Most expect the Mologic application to pass clinical validation and go on to a field trial while BBI and Abingdon will go straight to market when they(AVCT branded) have proved manufacturing to ISO 13458 if the Mologic test has passed its field trials as it is standard equipment for the sovereign test.

I think you are in error goldstandard. The method used to collect samples from maybe 200 people was anterior nasal and from these 30 positive and 26 negative were chosen to be presented to the AVCT LFD without any further swab of noses involved. It was a laboratory conditions analysis. The next stage is validation in the clinic of anterior nasal swabs from patients in attendance with parralel pointless samples being tested with a gold standard test that involves pcr no doubt. I think that is the procedure for validation.

They signify a test for constituents inside the covid shell. The antigen spike is not what gets CTed to any extent in my opinion hence why an LFT does not pick anything up in the higher CT band. LFT will be measured by the successful eradication of covid by reduction of the R rate not by an artificial S&S measured by faile pcr cohorts.

LFDs do not use pcr so should not be measured against pcr. Nucleic acid is not evident on the virions but inside them. The spikes affimers attach to are on the outside. The spikes are what can initiate infection not what is inside the covid 19 shell, Ndn71. Demoted to Beta.

All true PL but do not conflate the cabinet(government) with DHSC and Porton Down who are independant bodies. The Government is not to blame though it is Deeks/civil servants(DHSC) and Porton Down. the inventor of pcr said it was not a technique to be used for diagnosis but analysis and research. LFT and PCR are different but even AS has trouble setting up a barrier to pcr for gold standard as the best way to promote affimers.

The LFT is black and white for sensitivity in the infectious period. They are not meant for detecting who has been infected for a while so using pcr is pointless. The baddies are Porton Down and the DHSC and lined up against them are AS, Boris and Dominic Cummings, Dr Mina and President Biden/US. It is this internecine battle that has ruined the progress of our LFT together with use of pcr as gold standard for comparison and frozen samples now discredited by clinical samples in Spanish evaluation(frozen proven at Porton Down to retain their viral load in error as did not analyse for spikes).
AS tore a stripe off Porton Down and DHSC for the update in the HuffPost underlining this rift that exists and proving the tardy move to clinical samples at Porton Down who areplaying catch up.
It is difficult for AS to rip into his peers but I hope one day he can as he has been kept down too long. It seems the sovereign test may be history from todays rns as I thought Porton Down were evaluating for that but now AVCT have taken ownership of the Porton Dowh evaluation as the Mologic test has made Porton Down irrelevant. This is all good as although big government orders will come at a lower margin it is AffiDX on the box.

Those pale blue bars in the last graph are good-the higher viral load is being detected and stopping spread but this pcr based study rubbished innova at the behest of DHSC and set the negative press ball rolling.
