Pretty terrible but looking forward to an affimer therapy cure for all variants and firstly AffiDX proves able to detect all variants or with a quick tweek if required. Vaccines may get the boot.

This is very interesting, it seems the US/UK are coordinating a publicity blitz on LFT and the fact Abingdon have updated their website does point to affimers being central- onwards and upwards if so.
I am not actually a fan of the S&N hybrid because it will implicate AVCT in nucleocapsid false positives whereas the spike affimer test has 100% specificity and is only targetting the early infectious and that is the only thing required. I think it got Mologic on board for a commercial partnership to produce the AffiDX for low income countries but the hybrid will take 50% of profit for reagent sharing away from AVCT simply for giving Mologic an affimer test which they will promote like mad.
NB Only if you test positive with a antigen LFT will you be confirmatory tested with a pcr. The regular repeat test after test is for the detection of infectious(AffiDX is the best) and is a test taken by everyone, (the infected only requiring confirmatory pcr or merely isolation until repeat LFTs show infectiousness gone-ie negative). Moonshot big numbers are AffiDX type tests.
A lot of readers don't seem to understand the basics judging by the recommends. The fact labs are closing which you posted with your link is because pcr is uselesss at bringing down the R rate and also proves the LFTs should have been first on the table and pcr a hospital research/analysis tool for the infected. The implication is the sovereign test/moonshot will mainly be AVCT's affimer offering and not a pcr test. We seem to be doing better than NCYT with our market reaction to events, their test being a pcr.
Yeah-putting obstacles in front of LFT because they think cannot detect positives so spend on pcr and labs instead only to about face to LFT. No respect for decision makers there.

Bringing blockbuster drugs back on patent at minimal cost must be like the biggest windfall for the majors and although great I somehow think the rewards look like being disproportionate but this observation perhaps does not apply if the the prodrugs do not sell for more than they cost now. A possibility of a rule change should be avoided because of them not requiring phase 3 and could be fair because more beneficial applications of the reworked drug becomes possible with higher doses and full remissions meaning a possible saving to society due to less total treatments and a productive citizen returned.

Who knows re validation-the process should not be a secret as we are not getting any government handout. As this is the case I have tried to understand more about the science which is the root of all the games with evaluation of samples in the lab. Why has that not passed quickly when as an AVCT holder I firmly believe the efficacy of affimers. A quick validation and scale up would have seen antigen LFT replace antibody and pcr tests and the public on side due to the results. I am really looking forward to who will lose their head when answers are known as part of my consolation. The other part being a return on my investment that sees me in clover.
The best, if it works, persuaders, are the schoolchildren who the government hope will take a test at home under supervision of parents. Holly is a Lincolnshire lass so not your usual celeb.
Noone has answered me on whether the prodrugs will enter a new period of patent. Obviously both original drug firm and AVCT would want it and suggest AVCT would be entitled to half the profit for enabling it.
Thanks for the clarification on pcr, appreciated. There is definitely an overlooked element iro virulence versus halflife which diasadvantages the S target imo so less S to pcr then even though the spike itself is robust according to AS. Maybe it is not only dead but dissolves to nothing.
