100 percent Carpy. I had and still every confidence in Aston Martin prior to the recent successes in F1 coupled with that, im brimming with confidence and the SP continued to reflect this. One thing that has really come to the fore in the last 2 races regarding Seb is his out and out talent, mental strength, professionalism and determination to still compete at the very top. Given all the stick he was getting and pressure he was under, he has demonstrated his true class. His last 2 drives have been absolutely superb, as has AM F1team strategy. Lance too showing that he can perform and although extremely unlucky at Baku, he can expect plenty of points finishes ahead of him. Cars are showing great reliability now too. :-)))

Good God C26, do you ever have your doom and gloom hat off?!!!!! Aston Martin F1 get their first ever podium finish and that’s your opening post for the day without any comment on their achievements!!!!!!!!!

Awesome result for Aston Martin today and Seb continuing to shine :-)) The cars seem to have really come on in the last 2 races as have the drivers but terrible luck for Lance today but a blessing he was ok as was Vettel as they were foot to the floor when the tyres popped. As you say Carpy, was so much camera on Seb today plus another driver of the day (that’s back to back now for Seb). Another day that’s certainly not going to hurt the SP and so many things just feel so right about the whole Aston Martin transformation right now. I strongly believe us strong believers will be richly rewarded with our golden tickets in the years ahead. GLA

I don’t know Carpy, Seb hasn’t done so badly at the track this weekend so if our straight line speed/tyre wear is good, I think he may surprise again, particularly if his mojo is on song like it was in Monaco!

I agree with pretty much everything you stated Sahid but RedT the past, IES the future and for me, whatever ‘legacy failure’ lingers from RedT, the positives to date since IES by far outweigh them so I’m stumped as to why there hasn’t been far greater interest here by investors and subsequent movement in the SP given that clean energy generation, storage and distribution is front and centre globally at this time and indefinitely!! What’s it going to take for the wider market to catch on here? Perhaps I’m just being impatient but I just can’t see why the SP is where it is along with the lack of trading volume. All just IMO.

Morning all, someone please explain to me why the SP is where it is and why volume is non existent? 13 trades yesterday and 2 of those were £23k sells each! We have had a great RNS update - partnership/sales/pipeline all very positive as well as Canaccord bullish on IES with upgrade on SP target to 300p. We’ve not even breached the last placing price yet, let alone got near or surpassed the recent highs. What am I missing?

Absolutely Tiny and we’re having a good knock on the 2150p door so once Adeem out the way, I think we will push through and upwards which aligns with my particularly bullish outlook for the second half of this year ;-)

My holding is already worthless with a 98% loss so I’m prepared to sacrifice my worthless 23,000 shares to stop these thieves from benefitting any further. I’d like to think what goes around comes around and the only way we shareholders can do that is to vote no. GLA

On what basis is the share price ‘over priced’ Metom? Can you provide numbers or something of substance other than just your opinion to substantiate your claim?

Yes Antha, I’m one of those who bought in 2016 and this was the first individual stock I bought. I was averaged at 37p when the FDA failed to approve Iclaprim and at that time, was not experienced enough to have set stop losses and understand what was going to happen. My £8500 holding is now worth £116 and that’s right now so it will be pennies by the time the consolidation happens. Do I feel mugged - absolutely but I have learnt a lot and fortunately did not put too many eggs in the Motif basket. I have made my loses back and some over the years so I will put this experience down to what it is - a learning curve. GLA

That’s my sons favourite Carpy, he’s 9 so I need the SP to kick on a little bit more before I can buy him one!!! Lol!!! Totally agree Carpy. AML produced some stunning cars pre Stroll/Moers era - some near perfection and some not so it definitely gets my juices flowing to think of what lies ahead now that they are in control of AML with Mercedes sitting as a significant Shareholder and Partner :-))))

yes AML007, very nice continued upward trajectory in the SP so far this week - perhaps it’s the ‘Monaco’ effect or just coincidence!!!! Whatever it is, I like it and keep on climbing baby ;-)))

Well I liked what I read very much. Closed orders generating nearly £12 million in revenue and sales more than double the combined historic sales of RedT and Avalon. I think management gave really had their heads down and cracked on and of course the partnership with Siemens Gamesa is very significant looking ahead. Feeling far more upbeat as this feels very much like the company is now positioned to move into a real sweet spot in the coming years with Green Energy transition being front and centre on the global stage.

Agree on several fronts. The trading range has been getting tighter and tighter so a break out could be due - Aston’s performance at Monaco certainly a positive and I feel that stars are generally aligning again for the back half of this year and a good leg up in the SP :-) Also loved the gulf racing colours on the Maclaren. Have to be the most prestigious in racing. I bought the Tag Heuer Gulf Monaco Special Edition earlier this year - superb looking watch
