Totally agree RICHARD. Any short term headwinds AML has or is facing is not of their own doing/out of their hands and just presents a great opportunity to buy when the SP drops. Mid to long term very strong prospects IMO

There has been no news and a big seller in Adeem still clearing out. Once that’s done and if good results announced later this week, we should move up to a degree but I still think second half of this year is when we’ll really start to shift up. GLA

We’re very similar on our averages AML007. I have one account averaging 1200 (2020) and another 1850 (2021). I’m very much looking forward to Q1 results as a number of other manufacturers have posted excellent results

Yes C2645, recent SP movement has felt a little like pre-consolidation days but fundamentals much stronger IMO. The pattern does feel similar to when we kept getting sucked back to the old 50p and then she let rip!! I still think it will be the second half of this year that we see the real next leg up but what do I know (what do any of us know!!). Very comfortable with my significant investment in AML and more than happy to be patient - it has worked out very well since I first invested in AML last June. GLA

It’s been generally trading between 1900-2050 for weeks now with some significant daily moves in either direction when market does the same so absolutely nothing to worry about. Just great opportunities to top up around 1900 before the next significant leg up coming in the second half of this year IMHO

When is Vettel going to get a break!!! Racing gods are really doing him no favours whatsoever!! An incident packed race but Excellent drive by Lance finishing 7th and was a shame he couldn’t get past Ricardo for 6th as appeared to be right behind him for the last half a dozen laps or so.

Ishi - I’ll be watching the Grand Prix and the way I look at it, Seb can’t have much of worse weekend than the first so hoping he/the team put that firmly behind them and look at this weekend as a full restart.

C2468, what part of ‘business turnaround’ don’t you get about AML? You bang on slating what they have or haven’t done and compare them to companies that are established in their positions and not in transition. Stroll has been in control for just a year. AML is in transition and all in the middle of the greatest pandemic man has faced in 100 years so do you really expect outstanding numbers here there and everywhere in 5 minutes?!!! What they have done in 12 months under the circumstances is fantastic IMO and things will only get better long term. You seem to have a very unhealthy obsession with talking AML down.

C26, since I invested in AML last June, I’m plus £12k right now which ain’t at all bad in 9 months! I’m firmly keeping the faith in Stroll and that AML will bring Rich rewards over the next 3-5 years. GLA, have a good weekend

Thank you for that C2645. As I read into what you’ve quoted “With this car, we are putting into practice the build-to-order model for the future." It very much suggests that the build to order model is work in progress for future orders and does not say DBX is exclusively ‘build to order’ only. Makes sense as it will take some time to remodel the workforce/production line/supplier chain etc. to switch from continuous build/hold stock model to build to order predominantly/only. You’d also want to have the very essence of any AML products firmly positioned as very high end luxury/prestige from both a product and marketing perspective before fully engaging in such a business model which again is work in progress on both counts. Initial models may well be being rolled out to certain ‘held stock’ levels at dealerships right now but future and refined models of both DBX and other AML products will become ‘build to order’ models.

Been saying all along, the Rich are getting Richer and want new luxury toys to spend their wealth on. Just look at the marketing machine Stroll has already got in place for AML and he’s only just getting started ;-)

Genuine question - where has it been stated that the DBX is a ‘build to order’ only car? I know some of the/potentially all other top end/special edition AML models are/will be ‘build to order’ but not sure about the DBX given its an SUV?

Not that I’m saying it’s the reason for the increase but Blackrock just raised nearly $5 billion for a new Renewable energy fund from more than 100 II’s that’s particularly focused on Batteries/Energy Storage. We are absolutely at the real beginning of this green energy transition now and IES MUST ensure it’s in the mix.
