If you’re referring directly to the DBX not having ‘what the market is looking for’, I totally disagree with you Mansion. It is unique in its styling and high end luxury buyers want distinction which it has in abundance IMO. Yes there is some tweaking to be done but under Stroll and Moers, it will be with no stone left unturned.

Don’t think it will make any difference to the SP at this time Tiny IMHO, even if we’d done exceptionally well. In time, it could have a bit of an impact from a brand appeal perspective (like the Man Utd supporters all around the country in their hey day that had never set foot in Manchester!!!!) but more chance of a bigger positive impact if AM F1 do well than negative impact if they don’t IMO

Vettel had a very challenging weekend to say the least and a lot leading up to the race was not of his own doing. There were a number of moments in the race where he showed some really good driving and competed but going into the back of Ocon towards the end was yet again another poor piece of driver error - the same as we saw at Ferrari. Lance drove a pretty solid race but it was disappointing that he lost 9th on the last lap to Tsunado who also managed to claw back a 6-8 second gap in the last 8-10 laps. Positives are that both cars finished the race and in particular that’s good for Seb but he has got to do better and quickly. Reality is he will need a couple more races to settle and the team still have a lot of work to do if the car is going to have a chance of challenging the teams now above them. Sounds like the new regs regarding the rake have particularly disadvantaged our car this year so team got to work steadfastly to find more pace. Still very confident in my investment in AML and it’s future though and as stated many times, we’re still in reform stages both at AML and F1 but the future is bright ;-)

Asprey & Goddard ain’t no Aston Martin though C2645! I watched the GP2 race and Aston safety and medical car got plenty of screen time as is the vantage safety car right now on track :-))

Early days yet. Seb had no luck at all over the weekend and needs more laps but do need to find a bit more speed though we know it’s there in the car. It’ll come good. Meanwhile, just going to enjoy the battle up front and hope both the Astons finish as laps are valuable at this time

Exactly Mallo. I’ve said several times over the recent months that the rich only get richer generally in both good and bad times and they are looking for more ‘exclusive’ or ‘customised’ items to spend their money on and in Stroll, AML has a master in brand/product/marketing/business development and I personally feel very confident that he will establish AML as a front and centre iconic and highly desirable global brand. Phil, next high for the SP could be around 2800 following the trend line. Very difficult to say when it will get there though but I think 3rd quarter personally

Yes Rob, my golden tickets of £15k averaging @1180p is buried right at the back of the bottom drawer!! Got carried away on results buying another £15k at 2130p but got no concerns as bought more at 1906 and 1892 and averaging 1850p in my other ISA account so will just keep topping up if we do drift south a little more as got strong conviction we’ll hit the £6-9 Stroll said he’s targeting over the next few years. Lance looking good by the way and was 3rd best today if I’m not mistaken? He could come good this year with this car. Got couple of years in his locker now and I have a gut feeling the whole Aston Martin thing his Dad is doing could really push him on. Going to be a fantastic ride over the next couple of years :-))))

Rome wasn’t built in a day Jazim. It’s remarkable what Stroll/Moers have achieved in 12 months (not that long for Moers). I do think we’ll go sideways until the next quarter update which again due to Covid I don’t think will be much more than ‘steady as she goes’ but back half of the year, we’ll take off! Off course Stroll could drop another positive announcement anytime and we could get some great publicity from F1 too so all good in the AML hood

PS, SP is still almost double where it was early November and seems to be very resistant to dropping below 1900 at the moment so ain’t all bad!!! All’s good in the AML hood - I mean come on, just take another look at the AMR21, it’s different gravy!!!!!! ;-)))

Exactly TP and if they were staff with irreplaceable or even required skills at this time, they would not be making redundancies. Nothing to do with DBX sales numbers now or projected IMO. More than likely to do with Mercedes tie up/better optimising existing infrastructure/partners. After all, AML is going through a turnaround!!!! That means changes along with some uncomfortable decisions need to be made but whatever the reason, Stroll/Moers making such decisions ultimate to the benefit of AML

And all on the back of GT4 ‘learning to read charts’!!! Got a damn sight more reading to do by the looks of it GT4!!!!!

GT4, you are full of it. How has the DBX been a flop globally? Even C2468 admitted defeat after the last quarterly numbers were announced!! Have you ever heard of ‘trimming the fat’ or ‘streamlining’ a business to make it more efficient? The tie up with Mercedes could more than likely be the reason for making some unfortunate redundancies IMHO due to the access AML has of Mercedes tech/parts etc. Plus I’m sure they said they would better utilise existing infrastructure/partners. What do you know, you are not on the board or an employee so what you say is pure hot air and meaningless IMO.

Is the early 1900’s the new bottom? Has been hit quite a few times recently but resisting going lower from there. Fact that we’re struggling to push up above 2000p means very tight trading which is what happened when we couldn’t get away from 50p but then she popped!!!
