Happy with my top ups at 620 & 559 recently and will only add on any 10%+ dips. Building a position here as think DT has a fantastic and strong future. GLA

2 sells after hours, 1 over £500k and the other over £300k so wonder if Adeem. If so, be interesting to see what SP does next week given it’s rise over the last 2 weeks. If was MM’s, we may drift back down to the 1900’s but let’s hope not. Either way, the landscape ahead is looking very pretty! Have a good weekend all.

Yes HKK and when they do report in September, the SP will blast to new highs which I think will be the case as expecting a Stella report again :-)

Was good to see it pop up but I’m sceptical it could be MM’s again as SP has been stuck between 1950-2050 for a good few days on lower volumes (particularly yesterday). That said, Aston Martin warrants a much higher share price IMO so hoping it’s wider acknowledgment from the market and the start of a nice climb up to new highs

And remember MCAP is currently sitting around the original touted IPO price of 4 billion.

Around 670 is the support and if it breaks through then the next level of support is around 530. It kicked back up from just beneath 670 so let’s see what happens! If it does go back down to the 530, I’ll be buying plenty more!!!

Results in-line and provide solid stability IMO. Net debt has increased to almost £800 million but only by the £77 million of additional issued notes earlier this year. Cash at hand up £15 million so my conclusion is the turnaround is going according to plan and appears to be being managed well. would’ve been nice to see slightly higher sales but they are as expected so that is positive in itself and DBX really does appear to being well received. GLA

If we settle where we are now, it’s a bit above the original touted IPO valuation of 4 billion so for those that got in early on the IPO, the profit to this point is a bonus! I think DT has fantastic potential and any headwinds associated with the previous dealings regarding the chap linked to the sale of Autonomy will come and go with little if any direct impact on DT IMO. from the lows earlier this week and hoping we see the week out in 1900’s. Was good news reported by Reuters that Pfizer and Astra are just as effective against the new Alpha and Delta Covid variants. I’d like to think we’ll continue a move up as we get ever nearer to the next quarterly update. GLA

Morning Paul, Carpy and all the genuine AML crew. Good to see us recovering well today but feel there’s still more in the tank. Yes Carpy, I have not sold any AML shares and learnt the hard way with other shares over the last 18 months that you only make a real loss when you sell at a loss. Must always question why any share price pulls back at anytime as well as why it rises and the fundamentals with AML have not changed. Off topic, did anyone get on Darktrace after I highlighted it not so long ago? I have near doubled up in a very short space of time on it but it could still have a long way to go when comparing to peers and that it has market leading AI technology in the red hot Cybersecurity space. Any good pull backs on it would be an excellent opportunity to start a position or add IMO. Long and strong AML.

Hi Carpy. That had crossed my mind re people waiting on results now which is understandable but still think it was oversold yesterday given where we were prior. If results are at least inline or better then I’d expect a very good leg up. I wonder where Adeem sit now with their selling too. ATB

Literally everything else that is not directly affected by Covid threat is recovering well today (and did in US towards end of day) except AML. After being massively oversold yesterday too. What is going on?

It’s just a bad day across the board due to Covid concerns again globally more than anything. Nothing to do with Aston themselves and massively oversold today IMO. Unless the market continues to get bashed in general, I’d expect us to tick back up into the 1800’s again this week

Totally agree with you Paul regarding Seb, was just so disappointing he made a ‘school boy’ error at Aston’s home GP and first in 62 years and when he was in such a good position along with his recent form but it can happen to the best or ‘em at anytime! ATB
