Totally agree with you Paul regarding Seb, was just so disappointing he made a ‘school boy’ error at Aston’s home GP and first in 62 years and when he was in such a good position along with his recent form but it can happen to the best or ‘em at anytime! ATB

What a day yesterday was but scorchio!! I was up at 4.45 and got home at 22.30. Aston’s look fantastic (as do most of the F1 cars) on track and we saw plenty of the DBX (sounded and looked awesome) as well as the Vantage F1 which lots of people spoke of with approval. If Aston can make there F1 car a little more ‘standout’ with the livery it won’t hurt. Great drive from Lance as he fended Perez off for a number of laps and looked to have good pace but such a disappointing spin by Seb from someone with his experience. Big chance to score good points blown. Lewis - simply the greatest and everyone felt he was not at fault for the crash with Verstappen. It was a racing incident at worst, arguably Verstappen more to blame. Lots of Aston support in the crowd and atmosphere generally was fantastic. Shattered today though!!!! Hoping for a good week ahead for Aston SP as we get nearer to results

Just took my M4 to the garage - rear axle diff lock! :-( and saw a DBX on the way back. Rear end looks fantastic in particular, real standout and commands presence on the road. Hope to see a few more soon and looking forward to the next set of results. GLA

Good buy pappalazz. As I said recently, SP seems to have strong resistance to go no lower than 1850-1900 and I don’t see it going lower unless any significant/long lasting negative news is delivered to shareholders but I don’t see that personally either. Feel this is the SP new bottom.

I saw a snapshot news headline on Bloomberg at the beginning of this week that reported Toyota enjoyed strong sales in US for SUVs and up some 49% overall so shows good appetite across the pond albeit we’re not selling a Toyota rival but we know our US friends like an SUV so I think with their general love of the British too, the DBX could do very well there for those with deep pockets!!! Many wealthy Americans have significantly increased their wealth too during the Covid period!!

It would be less painful sticking pins in my eyes than being involved with IES!!! When these financials come out, they are make or break for me and have to air on the very positive side. Trading activity is non existent which is a big big concern IMO.

Not sure why you think the legal case is ‘quite disturbing’ Peter_van? It’s a dispute (and a small one) in the scheme of things which is a very common occurrence in the corporate world and nobody other than the parties involved knows the details or is privy to the contracts themselves. Aston are the ones who’ve initiated proceedings so from a legal perspective, must feel that contractual breaches have occurred by the defendant or that Aston themselves believe they have not breached contractual obligations in their actions. Either way and whatever the outcome £10-15 million (the amount in dispute) is very small in the scheme of things. This is more a point of principal/legal definition/contractual obligation and I doubt will drag on for long at all. It will have no impact of significance on the company or it’s share price IMO

I have been through a 2 year litigation at the Royal Courts of Justice against a former corrupt colleague. One thing you absolutely need, to go through litigation (which is what this matter will be) is deep pockets and top lawyers. I’m sure Stroll has those covered comfortably. If he didn’t think he could get a result from this, he would have settled behind closed doors IMO. He knows exactly what he’s doing ;-) Don’t think it will have much of an impact at all to the SP, if any.

The only way the SP will hit 1500 is if one of of two things happen IMO:
1) The company has to do another sizeable cash raise
2) There is a very significant market correction
Again IMHO, 2 is more likely than 1 but I just don’t see 1 happening and I don’t think any market correction will see AML drop at least 20% to hit 1500. Seems to be strong resistance not to drop below 1850/1900. I certainly believe we’ll comfortably breakthrough 2500 before the year is out and at least stabilise around it before pushing up further in 2022.

Yes affmaead, just shy of another 10% gain for Darktrace today :-)) so nice to be on the ride up instead of watching a stock rise whilst on the sidelines ‘waiting for the drop for a better entry’!! Got lots of faith in BP long term too, I like the transition play

It’s a hold and add on dips for me. I feel this could have a very bright future. When you look at where the Mcap of Crowdstrike is, the differential tech of Darktrace could do extremely well in this space (Cybersecurity) which is going to be so important in the ever increasing global digitisation world we live in. GLA

So eileen13, my original investment began in Motif in 2016 and I had a total investment of £8,500 at the time the FDA rejected approval of Iclaprim, even though it was widely expected to be approved given it was all being ‘hand held’ by the FDA to approval. From that point and up until shares were recently suspended, my shares were worth less than £200 and if this RTO was approved as it was, dilution would’ve literally left me with nothing and any new vehicle formed if it was approved would’ve had to have multiplied the share value x8500 for me to be even. That’s why it was a no brainier to vote no for me. At least if I’d been robbed on the street, I would’ve been able to see the face of the thieves but that’s not the case here!!
