BFU should see further results similar to the 400bopd increase within the first couple of weeks of November although it does not benefit AM to announce that whilst waiting on potential bids.
Hence why I suspect he will slow production. As a logical explanation.

It is all very much news dependent.

A 4 year investment plan in DL’s LGO with 18 nodding donkeys sat in in a jungle clearing each producing 6 bopd & the field production at 100 bopd. The investment was upgrades on the technicals & the 3D mapping, then doubling the number of those donkeys setting a target of 60 bopd each, so a total of 2000 bopd from the field being aimed at by the end of 4 years, then hopefully giving a 3 fold return & so moi pocketing 0.5M. First donkey then came up with 240bopd & that 4 year target was hit in 4 months. Doubled 2 months later.
Similar on 88 when PB with DW went looking for a shale oil reservoir when WTI was at $20.. Reservoir then produced some oil soaked samples from its exploratory well & again the market went into high excitement mode off the back of a good story.

The figures of flows / reservoirs were all very low, but it is the story that sells inclusive of a good combo of reservoir figures in addition to flows, in addition to today’s green qualities, in addition to the ergonomics. I still think we are in with a good chance that Am can put a good story together, from the initial 750bopd net field production to something significantly more sellable. Worth waiting for perhaps even in the deafening silence that is COPL’s settings mode on all things comms.

Some things you can feint and AM couldn’t feint his reactions to the 25% increase in production achieved within a two week spell prior to immediately shutting down the excess production for ‘safety reasons’. As apposed to the body language exposed whenever his ‘3% holdings’ got mentioned.

In addition of course is the simple metric that if Fed Deep was a duster and was loudly advertised as such it would then see Cuda sitting with a price tag in single figures.

Restructuring loan for debt at the current production levels would be unlikely.

There was c.$11M cash pile plus $7.5M placing, so we are sitting comfortably with c.$20M.

AM always seems to go to heavy on shareholders to either surreptitiously acquire (as per July 2020’s Ryder Scott CPR) or as seen in March to hedge against an extended down time.

Last night’s nautical themes then had one considering that this ship could only ever be named the SS Attrition. Is that why AM put extra cash into the books ? Perhaps. We can see that Cuda may take a while, with a 30th December sitting on preliminaries, so during this extended down-time when you can’t advertise to possible bidders that you may have a significant Fed Deep reservoir in addition to perhaps a second BFU well at 750bopd. Hence… lots of attrition. 10p to 15p and is possible but I suspect that at least some news flows will be forthcoming, to then keep this closer to 30 - 32p which was the support price for almost 6 weeks and which was the price that Tennyson started unloading to their cronies at.

Can be seen that Tennyson & AM use the superlative ‘within the next 12 months’ rather glibly as per their recent 9th March RNS when ‘within 12 months the placing for 4.0B OS will be accredited to the register & the accumulative totals will be 14.2B’ and that by the 30th March the RNS for the HSBC holdings then shows 14.8B totals…

Rather cheap ‘smoke & mirrors’ which does absolutely nothing for AM’s already low credibility in all things administratively. Hopefully though, his technical credibility is still streaks ahead of the skill sets required to run an office.

Having never set a benchmark for a stock courtesy of its peers (apart from PE’s etc) on an mc evaluation only as it then suggests that the markets somehow upgrades & so must also downgrade company evaluations, such that they then fall into those ‘tier levels’…
Is a new metric for me, so will watch with interest, whilst obviously continuing to chase Lady Luck’s smile.

As HFB highlighted earlier, lenders can still sell placing shares at negative values whilst collecting that $500k fee. If there are any timescales of future news flows then guessing that Tennyson would be in on that, so these are perhaps rather indicative of how long we might have to wait for news. Fingers crossed that Nigeria blows it all apart..

Sadly, but in the middle of a possible bidding war, then you don’t want the operator saying there is a second well on the BFU producing 750bopd or that Fed Deep is doing multiples of that.

Not sure about that bottom Antha, as that’s tied into news flows, which is now tied into any time scales for a bidding process.

They won’t value an asset on COPL’s mc, but if the field’s Operator is seen to be well under valued it might just be enough to ward off external interests….. as per Cuda’s Alberta field, financially doable but totally unloved, with a strong hint of bad karma.

That’s a given Antha, AM wants to acquire that 27% and was prepared to do so at any cost, which speaks volumes of what its potential could be.

Everyone waiting on Receiver & of any time lines for bidding etc (thought that Noob might have good input on this) which might then give indication of when AM can resume news flows from the fields.

Hopefully AM acheives acquiring Cuda WI but that is not a given. X period of time then required to get all potential bidding in, during which the news is still suffocated, until AM decides the shareholders are worth listening to. So the sp continues to drift, with no one willing to put any premium on AM’s name.

Was it death spiral finance, where lenders set the company up to fail, creating a win win from selling stock to punters whilst simultaneously shorting that stock, then that is a no. The BFU field alone is self sufficient and will provide very good returns. Was not so much death spiral finance as perhaps more of poorly managed.
