Lots of theories being banded about. No one in an official capacity that’s Boeing, GE, the Indian department, the FAA or NTSB should or will comment. No doubt one of the ‘Donald’s men, or the court Jester himself will clear Boeing/ GE at the earliest opportunity. Interesting that ‘Pilot Error’ is being banded about which isn’t a term used within the industry, but used by documentaries and arm chair experts. This may well be a human failing, and if it is you can bet there’s a trail of human failings typically seven. Very sad any loss of life. Two things two bear in mind. Engine failure on takeoff in a modern twin is very easy to manage. Secondly human failing isn’t usually malicious or deliberate but something all of us capable of. Obviously the video is horrific and when a pilot is involved in human failing the consequences are often massive. Let’s hope the learnings from this incident no matter what they are get acted on and implemented in a positive way for the whole aviation community.
