As said below, we have to remain calm. Things are not looking good but I don't see any point of panic selling at these levels.

Cash in the account equates to 12.5p per share, but this will slowly drain down. There is still some value, no matter how small it might be, in the data, biobank, expertise, patents etc that a large pharma might want to pay more than what is effectively 5p per share right now (current SP + cash of 12.5p).

Andybe4, if they are a total dud, why don't you sell out and at least get 16p rather than 0p?

Share price of 16p means the market is valuing SNG (minus the £25m cash) at about £8 million.

I'm honestly not sure what our data, patents, biobank is worth. But the market are effectively saying we are now all but worthless.

altube - Sadly, I do not think this is panic selling based on nothing. SAB having their P3 trial from under them, and they were a good way through it, too. We haven't even started ours.

At the very least, this now most definitely does require an RNS or some form of communication from Synairgen to clarify things.

If it is confirmed that ACTIV-2 is over for SNG, then the only hope I see left is that the ACTIV P2 data was outstanding and some large pharma wants to take it on for future trials. But it will likely be for pennies rather than pounds.

HSD - you could well be right but with the SP around 25p (with 12.5p of that effectively cash held, but admittedly diminishing), it doesn't look like much of anything potentially positive is priced in.

In isolation, graduating to phase 3 of a trial such as ACTIV would be worth plenty more than what the company is currently valued at. But the horror show that was SPRINTER phase 3 means a lot of nerves and uncertainty.

HSD - I hope that is the case, especially so because I have doubled down on Synairgen.

If the data is good, then I can't see why the SP wouldn't see a large bounce... SNG would be back in the game, as it were.

IMO all hopes rest on ACTIV P2 data now. If that data is knockout good, then I could see the SP rocketing back to £1.
But if it was merely average/vague, then we probably won’t move much beyond where we are now.

You have to hope it is half decent for them to have progressed to P3. But I don’t expect or assume anything these days.

If it really is the case that the steroids bu99ered all this up, then by rights the ACTIV trial could still get us out of this mess. My only reservation with ACTIV has always been that SNG say “we need a fire to put out”. With it being for the home cohort with less severe cases, it doesn’t seem to be our best area. I hope I’m proven wrong.

ACTIV P2 data, if good, could see the SP rocket back to where it was and take a lot of people by surprise. Of course, if it’s merely average then the reverse would be true.

Aurora and JP Morgan Prime nominees are who have custody of the shares. I don't suppose Polygon want a share certificate with 46 million shares. Would make it awfully difficult to trade quickly.

HSD - I'm not having that. One RNS, to deliver such dramatically bad news that devastated the price by as much as 92% in one day deserves for the CEO to show his face, to let everyone know they are still around and committed to the cause. A picture says a thousand words and all that... well seeing RM rather than an RNS might calm some investors. It's all well and good saying investors should shut up, but it's not beyond the realms of possibility that SNG will need a fundraise in around a years time. They need to be keeping us all onboard.

I mean, why wouldn't you want RM to do a quick interview? He's certainly not flying around the world signing up manufacturing partners or recruiting staff!

Trinityman, completely agree. I can't believe some on here think the opposite and that RM shouldn't address shareholders, claiming he's busy? He won't be crunching the data himself.

Mildly surprised that Polygon haven’t gone through 25%. The opportunity has been there with the SP still languishing in the 20’s, and it’s a relatively modest outlay for them to do this. Maybe funds have been diverted elsewhere to take advantage of the falls in other stocks due to Russia/Ukraine.

There’s so much that needs to be picked apart and fully understood. I’m sure the team at SNG are working around the clock to understand it all.

There must be something SNG can pull from the ashes. To go from outstanding P2 results to this… :/
