Still doesn’t make sense to me. SNG haven’t advertised for a couple of toilet cleaners here. These are senior roles. Some of the applicants might be currently employed, but others won’t be and you can’t say to them “will you all just hang on and don’t accept any other jobs until we get results, oh, and we don’t have an inkling what these results look like”. It’s a crazy way to recruit such senior roles. IMO.

We’ve missed the peak of Omicron anyway (or months of it) so why would you bother rushing? You’d just wait for P3 results and then do all this, given that we are now looking more at selling for stockpiling reasons than getting this out to help right now.

Time is money. Ashfield, websites, recruitment, PR agencies… they won’t have wasted time on SNG without some reassurances.

I find it incredibly hard to believe that SNG have not seen ANY data. Sure, you might advertise one or two jobs conditional on good results. But too much for me has been lined up, including the Friday find of us being Ray Jordan’s Putnam Insights first client. I can’t imagine he’d be advertising this unless he’d been given assurances. He is Mr PR. It wouldn’t be a good look for your first client to fall over a week later, you’d just wait till results are out.

If they really haven’t seen any data at all, then I think something else is going on behind the scenes that we don’t know about.

Well pish off then. These boards are to share knowledge and gain knowledge. I’ll happily admit I’m learning as I go along with Synairgen. I know a lot more now about them, and this sector in general, than I did a year ago. I’m sure there’s certain things I know more about than others and vice versa. You apparently know more than most on here, so help us understand rather than being so critical.

Even if Paraxel are analysing the data, surely at day 35 Synairgen are also allowed to view the data? It’s their data after all. But I honestly don’t know. Investing in a company like Synairgen is new ground for me and I’ll admit I’m learning as I go along on a lot of things here.

Beforegolf, just have to disagree. If SNG wanted to quadruple check the figures to make sure, how could anyone argue? They could easily string it out a bit longer.

Agree Ndn71. But it’s very easy in SNG’s case to legitimately delay results until they are ready.

Matml74, that puts my mind at rest. Although I didn’t think this was likely to be the cause anyway.

So all that being said, what are your own thoughts and reasons for why the results might be taking this long?

Manifesto, I did! Fair play. It’s all a bit of fun and I want positive TR1’s just like the rest of us.

Matterhorn - for me its possibly two reasons for the delay.

Either the top lines results are a bit sketchy and they are really having to work the numbers to get them looking half decent.

Or they are lining up all their ducks (commercialisation, manufacturing, recruitment). For those that say they have to release results as soon as they have them, it would be very easy for them to say they needed to check the data over again or take their time with the last few patients data. There’s certainly ways and means.

Ndn71, this is 2022. Multiple sites across multiple continents shouldn’t matter that much. They don’t send the data back to SNG/Paraxel by carrier pigeon. And the doctors and people in those countries administering the treatments are every bit as good as what we have here.

I’ve not watched all of the interview but he seems an impressive guy with a great CV. As said below, he’ll be charging more than £10 per hour and would surely have wanted some reassurances that his first client isn’t going to announce failed P3 results within the first few weeks.

A lot of debate on here on whether we’ll go it alone or look to be taken over. Having people like this on board would certainly make us more attractive to the pharma behemoths.

It’s been explained countless times that we have enough cash (salaries and leccy bills included) until P3 results lands. If they’re good, we’ll get orders and cash. If it fails, it ain’t gonna matter cos it’ll all be over!

Been busy most of today and thought I’d check in to see the updates… instead, greeted by Andybe4’s relentless garbage.

Perhaps Polar are still reducing. It’s been a grim week for the SP, so if Polygon have been wanting to increase their holding, they would have done so this week. We’ll know by 6pm.

I joked some time ago asking if anyone had access to the Southampton Uni Conference room booking system! Presumably they’ll be a media fanfare and they won’t all fit in RM’s office.

Ndn71, I had a good look through the historical announcements and while there was no real pattern, a few of the real big announcements, including of course Manic Monday, were released on a Monday.

I posted something weeks/months back but I’d still guess it will be a Monday. A guess, though, like everything else!
