Can we please quit with all the “Covid cases rising” and all other articles saying how bad Covid is.

It matters not to Synairgen. The fact is, our drug has to work, regardless of whether Covid is bad or not.

Fingers crossed for ACTIV-2 P2 data. That’s the next big news event for us. And maybe confirmation we are in ACTIV P3. That’s all we need to focus on right now. Even the SPRINTER deep dive is a long shot and more hope than anything… the trial was a mess. I’m hopeful and have brought my average down, but am trying to be realistic.

Burstead, maybe. But the last couple of TR1's from Polygon have done nothing for the SP, so I wouldn't spend too much time wondering.

Gunto - looks like you need to sell those shares you bought on the back of this news which looks less positive than we hoped.

Some well respected posters on here disagreeing whether or not we are still paused or not for ACTIV-2...

If we don't have an RNS by Monday confirming we are now 'unpaused', I'll assume we still are on pause.

Synairgen RNS’d to say ACTIV was paused. If it’s now unpaused, surely they should RNS to that effect?

Matterhorn - I will take your word on this as you are typically on the money.

But if it was updated yesterday, why haven’t they put “paused” next to Synairgen?

Butrstead - Q1 2023 for final outcome. I seem to recall the original expectation was end of 2022, but with the news recently I am not surprised it has been pushed back a bit.

Where is the RNS from Synairgen? If this has genuinely been updated in the last day or so, they would surely have been informed? I despair!

NIH page updated yesterday by looks of it, has SNG down as continuing with outcome expected Q1 2023? If that is correct, it’s great news.

I think we are putting too much faith in Polygon. Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad they’re buying as it’s about the only positive news we’ve had this last few weeks. But they got it wrong like the rest of us! They won’t have any market sensitive information that we don’t have.

On TommyD’s post, fascinating. You read it and think perhaps there’s a very outside chance of an EUA. Does anyone know of any example where a drug has failed both its primary and secondary end points but still managed to get an EUA? I struggle to believe there is.

Brand, maybe. But I'd also argue how much worse can it get than the 10-30p range we're in?!

Protecting the SP is part of his job. And communication is key to that. We may well need fundraises at some point in the future, or large investors to come on board. He might not have anything of substance to say, but right now I don't know if we even have a CEO... he's completely AWOL! A Twitter selfie might even suffice :D

Sharedealer, in effect we would be paying him a bonus from our profits. The SP will reflect all costs of the company, including remuneration.

Come on guys, there is no reason why RM shouldn’t have shown his face by now. The results of the biggest trial and moment in Synairgen’s history, and not a single word… from anyone at the company!

If you think that’s how you run a publicly owned company, I’m staggered.

FTC7- that is nonsense. The price targets being thrown around pre SPRINTER P3 outcome (circa £20+) are probably not reasonable now. But £2+ could be. If thinking there is upside, but less than before, by bringing their average down they can still potentially multibag to a similar level.

Stop being obtuse for the hell of it.

FTC7 - the point is, they aren’t able to force anyone to sell their shares until they buy up 90% of the company. They can have 50.01%, but they can’t have mine for a low price.

Ragz - I’ve brought my own average in price down to around £1.20. Right now and with where we are as I write, I’d be happy to bail out breakeven. But I think for a bid to come in at that level, we would need fantastic ACTIV P2 data, at which point I might think it’s worth more than that! :D

Ragz, what in your opinion constitutes a “big rise”? Serious question. If it’s £1+ and where Polygon could get out at close to breakeven, I could believe that.

But I don’t think any of us really know what Polygon’s plans are. My own guess is that they are still hopeful for ACTIV or future trials for SNG001, so are bringing their average down very cheaply, to take advantage if it does work.

Polygon aren’t loading up to protect against a low ball TO… they already have more than enough to do that. There’s also still plenty of LTH with average in prices far higher than what the SP is now, so if hypothetically 50p was offered, I don’t think many of us here would accept it.

If a bid is made, 90% of shareholders have to accept it. So Polygon would have to be on board but so would lots of us on places like here! For me, at this moment in time they’d need to be offering £1+ otherwise I might as well just keep hold of them.

Glad Polar are now out of the way. They’ll have been a big drag on the SP. Only the committed wanted here!
