Sprout - I honestly haven’t been looking at it, but it opened up at 30p and almost immediately went to 37p. I’d wager plenty of orders were stacking over the weekend and we’d have not got 30p if placing an order at any point this morning, therefore missing the big jump.

TommyD_19 - I’ve got a lot of time for your posts in general because you are one of the few good researchers we have left on here, especially after the likes of Matterhorn and Matml74 have now seemingly gone. But a touch more balance wouldn’t go amiss.

You know full well that a more positive spin could have been put on the RNS. You’ve just said it yourself… “statistically unproven results”. It didn’t read like that. It read like complete failure. More emphasis could have been put on the fact the trial failed, not the drug. Or perhaps they could have highlighted the positive Omicron IV results then, and not a one liner sandwiched in between another titled RNS weeks later.

Of course, a picture paints and thousand words and all, so a quick hello from RM, even if regurgitating the content of the RNS, would have been welcome. I’m sure we’d have all been able to read into such an interview more than what something written down would.

Docdaneeka - obviously my misunderstanding, but you said your assessment was broadly similar to Tattyhead’s, who was saying RM night already have resigned or intended to? You went on to say RM’s position was untenable or words to that effect, given all the failures?

Regardless, if nothing is found in the deep dive and ACTIV P2 Is merely average, I do not see how RM stays in the job.

Tattyhead and Docdaneeka could well be right… he might have already decided to resign but will wait for the AGM to announce it and/or find a replacement.

But this kind of speculation is exactly why someone from Synairgen should be facing the camera.

Tornadotony - I am also debating realising my loss. I just know my luck… I’ll sell at 4.29pm on Tuesday looking to buy back in at 8.01 on Wednesday in my ISA with its new allowance, and they’ll be a stellar RNS at 7am!

I could buy them back in my wife’s name. Still debating the best way to do it, as I have also breached my CGT limit for 2021/22.

A lot could still go wrong yet. Merely average ACTIV P2 data, no gems from SPRINTER deep dive, no replacement ACTIV trial, no platform trials forthcoming…

If all that happened, a cash raise would be inevitable and 5p a reality. Then 50p would be a result.

I am deep into this share. I am hopeful A2 P2 data is good, that there is a replacement trial for A2. That a number of gems are found in deep dive and long Covid analysis throws up something.

To clarify, I’m not being obtuse for the hell of it. More making the point to the likes of Aether that as things stand, we aren’t worth that much. Lots needs to happen (and can) and we also need a bit of luck for things to go our way.

I think a lot hinges on ACTIV P2 data. If that is spectacular, it could all be back on.

But as a shareholder, you must have some idea of what the company should or could be worth?

My point was that if we are sold as soon as the summer, as things stand right now we are not worth 100’s of £millions. Lots of unknowns.

I think it’s worth more than 24p, hence I doubled down.

Well certainly less than £1, IMO.

Of course, really positive ACTIV P2 data, deep dive etc could change all this. But bear in mind we regularly flirted with 130p when things were looking a lot more positive!

It goes without saying that I hope for much more, given that I am long on Synairgen.
