Daveboy, surely you know by now, but communication isn’t a Synairgen strong point.

This hinges on three things, with % importance I think the market is putting on them:

SPRINTER deep dive (70%)
ACTIV-2 P2 data...just how good? (25%)
Long Covid data...a long shot, IMO (5%)

The reason for these %'s is that the market didn't seem to care much for ACTIV-2 (which was also still very much alive on 21/2) when that dreadful RNS landed. It was all about SPRINTER. Long Covid is a long shot. I'm no expert but it must be a hard one to prove.
I think ACTIV-2 P2 has the potential to serve us well. If it's really good, I could see a decent move up for the SP, say to as much as 50-70p. But yes, the big moves will come from what will hopefully be a ginormous gem from SPRINTER deep dive.

Axe - I wouldn’t put anything past Synairgen with regards to RNS’s. I thought it was a bit odd to get an RNS on Monday saying they’d presented at ECCMID on Saturday! They must have known they’d be presenting there beforehand, and have RNS’d previously in advance of such events. Indeed, the one in the US on 16th May was RNS’d. I just can’t work them out sometimes.

In summary, I would not be at all surprised for us to get an RNS the day after the US presentation giving all the findings. I’m not convinced they are overly concerned with the small investor… certainly, their lack of communication since 21/2 has not helped argue against this view. IMO.

IMO Ray Jordan was brought in to market one of the biggest breakthrough drug discovery. If we rewind back to the months immediately before the 21/2 disaster, it was all guns blazing, hires, deals, agreements galore. Ray Jordan was just a part of this. The arrangement with him would have presumably been negotiated days/weeks before the news the trial had miserably failed.

I’d be surprised if he is still working with/for us. Maybe the arrangement has been put on hold. Let’s see if Brooke confirms either way.

If Ray Jordan is still working with SNG then I’ve not seen anything from him!

LimaLiam - one line summary from Synairgen at the end of the RNS for people like me who only have half a brain cell. Something like "FYI, these results are effing fantastic!".

I'm not sure what exactly you're on about.

Is this some kind of limit trade where they are filling the order as and when they can? If so, typically they get booked out as one trade at the end of the day with only one dealing fee.

Brand, if there is new data in the presentation then should it have not been RNS’d immediately? And for other presentations, they have RNS’d beforehand to say they will be presenting.

Happy it’s a positive and not negative RNS. But I don’t think I’ll ever understand how Synairgen think.

Nemo, I don’t think it’s desperation. Just odd it’s after the event. And did that need RNS’ing?

I suppose at least it’s not a negative RNS. From small acorns…!

Truly, that is the most bizarre RNS yet. I don’t think Synairgen quite understand what or when you need to RNS!

Andrewpcapp - I think many LTH, including myself, felt almost emotionally attached to this company. I’m not sure I was mentally prepared for such a disastrous outcome on 21/2!

As for this presentation, I’m not holding out too much hope. If we can all recall, the evidence stacking up in the few months prior to ‘that RNS’ was immense. The scale of recruitment, partnerships, commercialisation and PR to name but a few (I think at one point I had about 20 reasons why this could and should have succeeded!). My point being that Synairgen could fire recruitment back up and be seen shaking hands with Covid leaders around the world, and I’d still be sceptical.

Andybe4 is right, though. We are due some good news!

Nothing wrong with sharing information. But no need for the joyful “game over SNG bye bye!!” and you well know it.

So happy that interferons work for another company’s product, you thought you’d come on to the Synairgen board and announce it’s all over for us here… my cynicism is well founded!

Long1 - the results might be amazing but the SP isn’t reflecting that. At beginning of 2021 it was $12.30 and drifted all the way down to ~$4 before bouncing to $9.50 on those results. However, it is now drifting lower and is at $7.

But… odd behaviour to come on to a BB for a specific company, put its chances down and then praise the virtues of another stock.

Burstead - looney, not really. I don’t think they’ll be an EUA. But I do think there is a future for the drug, just not necessarily in Synairgen’s hands.

I’m not as outright bullish as some, but I’m not spending my weekends, as well as my weekdays, relentlessly posting nothing comments. Come on, it’s a bit sad!

If you don’t like Synairgen or it’s prospects, sell out and move on.

Manifesto - that is a fair point. They did indeed show a lot of ambition pre SPRINTER P3 results. Although I kinda wished they hadn’t… it sucked me in!

The chances of us going for EUA is next to zero. And if we did, it being approved are even smaller.

We didn’t pass any of our end points in the trial. Regulators would surely be very nervous about approving a drug with such results, no matter what the deep dive might dig up.

As an investor deep in this, my hope is that SPRINTER deep dive finds something positive and that ACTIV-2 P2 data is very good. From here, a takeover from large pharma, who are willing to play the long game with more trials to prove SNG, and to get us all LTHs out of here with minimal or no losses.

Anything more would be a lottery win.

Manifesto - how are you getting 90 days as completed last week? I thought LPD was back in November, so surely 90 days was up in February?
