LimaLiam - communication and a bit of good and old fashioned customer service are easy wins for anyone. No excuses. Even if it was just the occasional “we are still working on the deep dive and we appreciate your patience and support” would have been welcome. We own the company, after all is said and done.

Easy to criticise SNG for lining up all their ducks prior to Sprinter P3 results. But then if they had been stellar and orders were flying in with no infrastructure in place to cater for them, we’d have also been critical.

It’s happened now. We need good deep dive results and if they’re not, RM and the team need to suffer the consequences and fall on their swords. What has been less inexcusable is the communication. Or rather, lack of.

Brighty, I wouldn’t quite say we are still on track. More like off the track and in the gravel, but the engine is still just about running. Can we get back on track and hope for a safety car, a miracle like Verstappen had, to win the title!

Agree Lockie. My own internal odds-ometer has it at just a 20% chance.

Nearly 3 months on from that fateful day with no deep dive analysis seen. They must be going to record depths. They have to come up with the goods at this event, or very soon after.

Saintsmith - different providers provide different prices. I think Google shows the last traded price. The problem is they there is a huge spread between the bid and offer prices… as much as 8% recently but about 4% today. So Google might show as up 10% but then a sale goes through and all of a sudden it’s only up 6%.
Others might give the mid price.

It’s all completely irrelevant for LTH. And the spread being wider than a barn door makes it nearly impossible to day trade and highly risky… tut tut to Andybe4 for telling people it’s easy money.

Either way, we are up a bit today. But yes, LTHs still massively underwater. I’m working in lots of 25p… 50p next stop for me.

All this talk of 27p is immaterial to me. and probably most LTH on here. It needs to get back to 50p before I’ll even get remotely excited.

Manifesto - I remember the technical analysis saying BUY BUY BUY when we were at £2!

I think TA can be useful for stocks where there are actual earnings, but not so much for one like SNG.

Altube- the price is only up this morning on the bid/offer spread which is roughly 23.5-25p. So if a sell goes through it’s back to only up a fraction of a percent.

Tommy - I’ve given myself a talking to and you are right we have to remain positive. I have been a bit glass half full but ultimately I am hopeful of something, hence significantly increasing my holding post 21/2.

Kevin - I suppose they could RNS on the morning before the presentation. That would be the middle of the night in the US.

Synairgen have said they “will be presenting further analysis of the SPRINTER trial” at the conference, so I’m sure we’ll hear something new. But how substantial that might be, I have no idea. My expectations are very low but they do need to come up with something.

I wouldn’t want to be RM at the AGM. If there’s nothing of significance by then, I’d be resigning.

Worthy cause, but already been mentioned so let’s focus on SNG.

As for if we get no news by AGM, that would be fairly shocking. It shouldn’t take so long as the board would have to go. I might be taking a trip to the AGM.

If you convert $0.30 back to sterling, it’s more or less in line with our price.

cmww - it has taken so long I’m not sure they have computers but instead an abacus! Still, I’d rather they get this right so if it really does taken longer, so be it.

Hmm, I don’t know, Tommy. Maybe because as I own the company I’d like to be told the results of the deep dive analysis before they tell a room full of strangers that don’t own the company?

In addition, if they are so inclined to RNS about various presentations they’ve attended/delivered in the past that arguably had no need to be RNS’d, one could expect to have one for what is a pivotal point in Synairgen’s history.

Hop2 - here were my six reasons not to invest.

- Company is small and does not have the power/influence of large pharma.
- Chance of being the 20% that typically fail in P3.
- IFNb never been used in this way before. Could be some unknowns.
- Politics.
- Cost, with vaccines and pills cheaper.
- I own it.

I’d argue 4 of those 6 turned out to be legitimate concerns that sadly came true… we were small and inexperienced (not designing the correct trial or anticipation of SOC improvement, the 20% that happen to fail, IFNb never being used before in this way (so again, not fully understanding the impact of certain SOC being used with it, and me owning it!

For those who never saw my list, I had 19 reasons for investing in SNG! Doh.

Hop2 - it would be one hell of a coincidence if deep dive results land on the morning of the presentation. And would fly in the face of Synairgen’s earlier statement that results would be published as soon as they have them.

This is just another reason why I’m not getting my hopes up. My base expectation is that we’ll just hear the same old info regurgitated. Anything more, as long as it’s positive, will be a bonus for me.
That said, the RNS on 25/4 did say “further analysis of the SPRINTER trial will be presented”, so surely that does indicate we’ll hear something!

Synairgen just don’t like to communicate or make anything easy for shareholders…
